I did it!! I got all of my damaged ends cut off!! I am so happy I did it instead of doing it gradually. It feels so good and my fingers and comb just slips through my strands effortlessly- no more getting snagged when I reach the ends. Now it's even- no more split ends and no more uneven ends. I will post pics later. I just couldn't wait to share my joy with yall! I am so happy!!:yep:

I think this is a GREAT way to start off fresh. Congrats. Its better to get rid of the damaged ends then to cling on to them for no reason :yep:

Good job girl!

I just did the same thing last week. Now I need to get my fingers out of my hair...my ends feel so smooth.

Looks shiny and healthy! Boy, oh, boy, those Curlformers are creating a stir. I have been so good these passed several months and not spending. My daughter's bday is coming up and she would look so cute in theses. I am tempted. How long do the curls last?

If you do them on your wet hair and sit under a drier to dry them, they should last the same amount of time as a rollerset. If you do it on dry hair, it may last 2 days:yep: I love them and they are SO easy to use too!

Yes, you are SO right. I've officially taken myself out of all of the hair challenges I was in too, I NEEDED to do this and I'm glad I did it now:spinning:

That's my problem... I have HIH (Hands in Hair) syndrome. I made sure to put my hair in an updo using my HairZing... my hair feels TOO good  I figured that would help my HIH issue... alittle atleast:look:

Yay, I keep flirting with the idea of doing this. I was looking at your fotki and had a question. Which of the hair clips did you like best: the UPA or the mane clip?

Your hair looks FAB!:yep: I am so in love with Curlformers. Once my Pibbs dryer arrives Curlformer rollersets will be my new staple!

Hairapy, I like how the curlformers made your hair look. The only probelm, we don't have them here in the Bahamas. I also like the mane clip you used, it looked so natural and I'll have to order that online too.

I like them both for different reasons. I like the Mane Clip because the hair is interchangeable and you can buy any hair from the BSS and use it, but the hair is alittle difficult to put into the barrette if you don't make the track stay together somehow, that's why I had to sew it together. Also, you have to put alittle (like 10 inches) of track hair around your ponytail for your own hair to be totally undetectable (if you're wearing the hair down instead of in a bun)

I like the UPA clip because it's SO easy, no putting in hair, and your own hair it totally covered because it's sandwiched in. The downside to that is that you're going to have that same hair to use over again.

On one hand, the mane clip, you can change the hair, but not the barrette. On the other hand, the UPA clip, you can change the barrettes, but not the hair. I do my throw on and go hairdos with the UPA clip though, it's the fastest between the two.:yep: HTH

Thanks PinkSkates!! I love them too. I've been doing drysets. Next time, I'm going to do a wetset with them:yep: They are SO easy!

How much is shipping to the Bahamas? If you want (and no, I've never done this before), I can get them and you can pay me through paypal for the cost of them and the shipping and I can send them to you. You can PM me if that sounds appealing.:yep:

You are so kind and thanks for the offer. I will see because I am not sure when I'll be able to update my paypal account. However, it there is a website that does not require paypal that you know about, I can get it immediately. Thanks again.

Sorry... I had a L-O-N-G weekend ladies... here's pics of my hair after my cut (it'll probably be a link because my pics haven't been showing up) I also posted pics in my fotki:
