What would you like to see

I recently have been getting my hands on some cosmetic chemistry textbooks and some hair science books. There are some more that I want but they are extremely expensive, especially since I am not using them for school or anything. My question to you is what more would you like to see or find out. I am working on putting together a silicone guide now but it will be awhile before that is done. What other things would you like to see? This will help me determine what other books I should look for.

Maybe I'd like to see something on how much moisture can really be absorbed into the hairstrand and how much is too much? Is it better to DC wet or dry? Anything regarding moisturizing or conditioning the hair interests me.

If theres any more information about what makes textures different, curl patterns, cuticles ect. ect.
And if they say anything new about what is healthy for the hair, what damages (especially the cuticle), anything about chemicals, heated appliance

(I noticed you were going to pharm school in my other thread, so am i after these 4 years, i look at all the hair stuff in my science books lol, but never thought to go to the darn college library/bookstore)

Gym I want scientific info on relaxers. Are you checking half and ebay for your books too? I saw some cheap ones on both sites when I was searching for textbooks a month ago.

Someone posted some info on another board about glycerin not really being a humectant. The site they got the info from stated that it just coats the hair shaft and really doesn't absorb moisture. If you could find out something about this, I'd appreciate it! Ooh, also there was something else about castor oil being a humectant and not really and "oil" per-se

I am still researching but I think I would be good at it. Ya know, no matter how much technology companies seem to develop in haircare, I still feel like they don't have enough of "us" giving them feedback about their final result.

this right here also how to treat hair with low porosity tendencies would be great too.

i think this is why my hair never relaxed straight but it's something i really need to deal with now that i'm natural.
