First, I would like to say sorry if this has been asked before. But the search feature isn't working.

I just bought this 3 pack from Big Lot today. I know Pantene is expensive so I grabbed that sucker off the shelf. It was $8 and I got 20% off!!

Any reviews? Honestly, I don't even know why I bought it :ohwell:. The products im using now are working good for me.

I used this line when I had a relaxer, it always made my dry hair so moist. I still use the conditioner...but not as often as I used to...:yep:

Hmmm, would this picture convey the message?

:lachen: Okay, guess I can't really blame that on the Pantene, but it didn't help.

I cut it off in frustration. Tangles, tangles, and more tangles. Oh, and knots.

I will never buy pantene in my life. Not willingly at least. WOW! How did you wash your hair? Like loose or braided.....?:

My goodness. It must have really been bad to force you to cut your hair. How long ago did this occur?

That was in Sept. 06. I washed it loose. It was not too long after I took out extensions. It was all a mess! Before I had any hair care knowledge. So I can't say it was Pantene's fault. But I used that brand for a long time. Just the shampoo and conditioner, not the other product. Also used both while my braids were in. And it just didn't do anything for me.

But the best way for you to know is to try it yourself. You already bought it, so let us know how it works for you!

Oh. Wow. Yea washing loose for me is begging for a disaster. Well, I am happy you recovered.

I'm not a Pantene fan either. Actually some lady is suing them, b/c she said her daughter (biracial) also lost most of her hair using that line! Whoa Mwedzi!

OH MY GOOOODNESS! that is tooo much hair to be loosing at once. at first i thought you lost that on the comb out but then i read that you said you cut it out of frustration, either way its still a lot of hair. i have times when i loose a whole bunch of hair when i wash or comb, but that is way more than i loose thats why i was soooo shocked to see it. anyhow, i hope that isnt still happening. your hair looks good now- the positive is that you learned to stay away from loose washing . right?:perplexed

i dont have too much to say about the shampoo, but the conditioner is one of my favorite conditioners. i didnt really look close enough to see the words on the bottles in the pic you put up, but i assume that they are the intense moisture line. that one is just ok to me. the real be all to end all is the breakage defense. i do not know the reason , but that breakage defense is the one that puts the intense moisture into my strands. it doesnt come in the big bottles you have. it only comes in the 8.4 fluid ounce bottles, and its more exspenssive than the intense moisture, but i like it a whole lot. the mask that comes in the little jar- i like that too, but nothing is better in that line (imo) than that breakage defense.

The people I know who have tried the breakage defense mask loved it , but I believe it does contain sodium hydroxide which is lye. So, my sister no longer uses it...

I've used the conditioner and I like it...I just bought the Breakge Defense mask but haven't used it yet. I never used the shampoo.

This line is okay, but you should try the R&N Breakage Defense line. Especially the R&N Deep Conditioning Mask. I don't use the moisturizer because it contains mineral oil.

I didn't like it very much:nono:

It didn't keep my hair moisturized very well and didn't help with my curl definition

It works for me on my relaxed hair, but I'm currently 13 weeks post and took braids out of my hair yesterday. I washed w/ the shampoo and my hair matted and dredded up. I squeezed out most of the conditioner to let it sit in my hair and it did not detangle. I had to cut the tangles out. =( I'm in the process of transitioning and really need a poo/con that will work and Pantene doesn't agree with my natural hair.

Thanks for all your responses. Its greatly appreciated.

Yes, I now stay away from loose washing. It does help, but doesn't get rid of them. If this were not the first time in my life that I'm consciously trying to grow my hair out, I know I would have cut it a third time this winter. Nothing is going to make my hair not have tangles, I don't think, but the Pantene just didn't help at all. But I didn't try the hair mask thing.

I've used it both as relaxed and a natural. My hair loves it and responds really well esp. if I let the conditioner sit on it for a couple extra minutes. The oil moisturizer left my natural hair looking a hot greasy mess though

I haven't read other people's responses, but for me, I didn't like that line. The shampoo was so thick it felt a little like trying to shampoo with glue and when I looked at the ingredients to see why, I found there was petroleum in the shampoo near the top of the ingredient list (this was a while back so I don't know if the formula is the same).

And since I try to avoid mineral oil and petroleum I found these products to be a no no :nono:, even though they smelled good.

Hey girl. Thanks for your response. How do you like the conditioner now that your natural?

I love the conditioner! It makes detangling very easy...The moisturizer, on the other hand, does not work for me anymore. It acutally makes my hair feel dry:nono:.

I LOVE Pantene Shampoo and Conditioners!!!!! I have used it since the mid 90s (high school). I like the Relaxed and Natural line too. I have had no problems with it. I usually wash with another shampoo first to really clean my hair, then I use the Pantene shampoo and conditioner. Any type of moisturizing shampoo doesn't get my hair clean enough by itself. Pantene and I have a very healthy relationship.:yep: My hair also loves cones-especially when I flat-iron it.

The way I talk about Pantene, I should be in their advertisements or on their marketing team. However, I am one of those people who think they repackage the same products over and over. I don't see much difference among their products. I generally buy whatever is on sale.
