I hate that she sold it too. I was really impressed with EVERYTHING when she owned it. The products that were a little pricey but well worth it. Now it's more expensive and the customer service sucks. I loved the Constant Care For Ends.
Nakialovesshoes: When was the last time you called?
The products are fabulous. They are my number one staples. They did more for my hair than any products in the beauty salon. My stylist was very impressed with the results.![]()

How are you doing? I don't mind responding to long PMs, so its okay for people to be long winded with me.
I think you should stick to the regimen and products that work best for you and do your own hair. Most people who have long hair on this forum do their own, because they don't trust stylists. Also, a referral from someone who has long hair might be helpful. I always refer friends, relatives, neighbors, coworkers, etc., to my stylist.
Currently, my hair is uneven. The right side is slightly longer than the left, but it doesn't look bad according to my friends and stylist. I believe this is because my stylist trims it in a "V" shape. When it grows out, it becomes uneven or maybe I give more attention to the right side than the left. Nevertheless, my stylist says it's healthy. My hair is below bra clasp or navel length.
I trust my stylist. I've been going to him since 1990, and I believe in what he says. He doesn't agree on trimming my ends regularly, because he said that would be cutting away the growth. I don't debate with him, because his customers have longer, thicker (waist length) hair than the other stylists' customers. He trims off an inch once every 18 months, because he said my ends are always healthy so there's no need to trim it every few months as Wanakee recommends--since I wear my hair in protective styles 95 percent of the time.
Nor do I oil my hair everyday, because I don't have time. Once a week is the best I can do, and I do it thoroughly. I don't have time to be in a salon every Saturday, so I go once every two weeks. As you can see, I don't follow Wanakee's recommendations by verbatim, but I believe in what she says. :superbanana:
I would like to create the formula for Verifen's Complex products (especially the shampoos and conditioners) just in case these products are no longer manufactured. My stylist said I would have to go to a chemist. However, he recommended some good substitutes--which has given me the same results for a lot less. This website has been very helpful, too.
I haven't learned how to post pictures on this website yet, so the only hair pictures I have on display are at www.hairoil.com. Just click on the "Testimonials" and "Before and After" tabs. I'm Barbara from Beverly Hills.
Oh is that you Barbara?...You look very nice. Yes, I guess your hair would be navel length as it was pretty long in 2002. Your stylist sounds pretty good b/c not too many people speak highly of their stylist.
Is your hair natural or relaxed?
TIA
Yes it's me, and thank you for the compliment. My hair is natural.![]()
I just placed an order for XFactor Reconstructor Conditioner and Constant Care for Ends and it went through. I also received a confirmation email. HTH!!
Does your stylist press your hair with a hotcomb or use a flatiron? Your hair looks very healthy!
