You can use cinnamon sugar mixed with some water and massage it gently into your scalp.

I've done it and it works. But don't scrub or rub, gently massage. Didn't really see a benefit from doing it though :ohwell:

ooooh...

yeah, i want to do this, too

i was going to wash my hair tonight

and i definitely want to give attention to my scalp

any other suggestions would be great!!

Rhassoul clay is also good. I just used an Anita Grant conditioner cube and my scalp is so much better.

Doesn't exfoliating mean getting off dead skin cells? I want to do this, too. I do this on my my body with a loofah, but I don't know how I'd do it on my scalp. I've been thinking of just taking a soft toothbrush to it.

yes, that is why I want to do it so badly. I figure that since the scalp is skin that it needs to be exfoliated, as well.

wouldnt it be difficult getting all the sugar out of your hair? i dont wanna wake up to a trail of ants on my face you know?

Try seabreeze for your scalp, the kind they sell at the BSS. I used to do my ex-boyfriends scalp.

Feels great.

Por on a cotton ball and use on your scalp.

I use a commercial sugar scrub. This weekend I tried and loved Neutrogena Energizing Sugar Body Scrub. Sugar dissolves so it does not get stuck in your hair at all. It rinses away clean. I do it after shampooing and before conditioning.

I do it because I get build up on my scalp even after washing. The sugar scrub works like a charm.

I have used the one by Bain De Terre, but it was too expensive (in my opinion) to repurchase because there are so many other products out here.

You can make you own, too. Do a Google search for scalp scrub recipes. many people use Brown Sugar.

My scalp is just cleaner and feels fresher after the scrub. It is very gentle, too.

Also you can try brown sugar with olive oil, castor oil, and alvacodo oil. It works wonders and it leaves you hair and scalp smelling and feeling great. I use it once a month
