Mizani butter blend users

Could the pre-treatment and scalp protector be used with any relaxer? For my touch-up in December, I want to use the Hawaiian Silky no base lye relaxer and wondered if it would be okay to use the pre-treatment and scalp protector by Mizani with this relaxer.
