Ladies in the APL Challenge did you make it?? Lets go ahead and start are reveals. Post your pics IN THIS THREAD when you can. If you didn't make it (which I didn't ) don't be discouraged. It is attainable and you will get there, just keep up the healthy hair practices


One thing I learned the hard way is that if you trim your hair on a regular basis you will not attain length
This year I have snipped between 3-4 inches overall in the hopes of evening out my hair and to lose bad ends. As you can see, the snip to even out the hair made absolutely no difference.

WHAT DID YOU LEARN THIS YEAR?

I still have another 2 inches or so to go. Should be able to hit that in about 3-4 months

Thank you My hair loves co washing and for me the less heat (or rather flatironing/straightening) the better. So usually i wash n go or slick it back in a little bun after cowashing. I am trying to only straighten once a month. I don't really have a regimen other than that.

Looks like you are definitely there to me If you trim it needs to be bare bones minimum. Your hair looks great!!!

Naw, i have learned my lesson big time already by stunting my own progress. I haven't trimmed in about 3-4 mos and don't plan on trimming again for at least 6 mos.

Um... I'm not sure if I made it. My pic is in my siggy and this is where I started. I'm in layers soooo

I had two major setbacks which resulted in a trim and a cut and loss of thickness. But I'm on the way back baby!

I would if i was getting my hair done this month ill be getting a relaxer on the 4th so if people are still posting their results in here i will post my pic on here also. It looks like my hair is actually shorter though.
