Does Anyone NOT use Shampoo, ACV, OR Baking Soda?

I am trying to increase the moisture level in my hair, and am considering only using conditioner for awhile. I haven't used shampoo in a couple of weeks, and I can't even remember the last time I officially clarified.

Do any of you ONLY use conditioner? Is there any harm in doing this? In other words, can it actually hurt my attempt at increasing the moisture in my hair?

TIA!!! :grouphug:

Just be careful because it may backfire in the long run by blocking moisture out due to build-up. By clarifying and deep conditioning you are actually getting the most moisture because your hair is free from any build-up allowing the conditioner to penetrate better.

she is right, may be use poo once in 1-2 month at least to clarify. For me I use poo and deep condition twice a week. But the only poo I like is elasta qp creme conditioning poo ( give it a try may work for you).
Also have you tried diluting poo to water it down.
you can start a thread to see what others use.

I see... Which do you think is the least drying of all of the three - poo, acv, or baking soda?

Thanks for the replies ladies! Anyone else?

Either acv or baking soda. I was a acv user for many years but now i use baking soda and I love it.

I use conditioner only - once a week, and clarify with 2 tblsp baking soda mixed into about 1/2 cup conditioner once a month. I've been doing this for well over a year now, and my hair LOVES it.

Pokahontas: how do you do your baking soda washes?

TIA!

I just mix baking soda with my shampoo and shampoo as normal. I use like 2 handfulls of baking soda (I'm heavy handed so you may not want to use as much). I love how my hair is light, fluffy and very shiny after I use it.
