I was using the baking soda on my hair every week a few months ago. :perplexed

It's bitter sweet but I'm glad I know what happened.

My natural hair is super fine, so I have been increasing my protein.

good thread, don't know how I missed it when it originated--I found out the hard way about baking soda. When I used it, my hair felt so wonderful much much softer even after it dried. BUT, in the following days during normal day to day styling and combing I lost many more strands than I was used to. :nono:
