I've been on hair boards now for about 4 years and in retrospect, when I first found this site, I should have cut off my hair and started from scratch. I believe my hair took a while to make some progress because I was starting w/damaged hair. Now that my hair is healthy I can't wait to see some length. It's not long but it's healthy and I'm grateful for that.

I've been a member for more than 3.5 years and I think I should be brastrap by now:rolleyes:

I think that most ladies can consider the first year a part of your learning curve(i.e. trial and error) but after that its YOU:cool:

I loved fresh haircuts and blunt ends so I undermined myself until I got serious this year. I am happy with my progress and lots of people comment on how healthy it looks:up:

My ultimate goal is full APL and I'm still confident that its reachable for me:wink2:

Thanks Nic....THAT really made me feel better...

*knowing that me and the Dominican hair stylist were basically f****** up my hair for over for a year basically...that's why I broke up with myself and her...and then made up with myself and my hair and we worked our problems out..*

** raises hand **

Been here for a while now. I'm a verrrry faithful lurker
But yeah, I should be beyond bsl now.
I was almost there, but had a major setback, which was very traumatizing for me, cuz i had to cut so much, and so many times. I was so disgusted by it all, that i stopped caring. Closed my fotki, went on a lhcf hiatus, you name it.
I also felt guily, cuz i thoughtb i brought it on myself by not being good enough with caring for my hair.

Thank god i fell on a wonderful hairstylist (she's a darling) who restored some hope in me, and babied my hair back to health. now i'm back at shoulder lenght (the lenght i started with, when i first discovered lhcf :look:)

My hair grows steadily. But what bugs me the most (and i'm ashamed to admit it) is that, despite the weath of knowledge available on lhcf, and the years i've been here:
- i still don't have a foolproof regimen
- i still haven't found my holy grail products
- i'm the first to jump on product bandwagons (not as much as before tho')
:lachen:

Add to that, that i completly and utterly suck at styling my own hair :drunk:.
I've tried it all: pincurls, rollersetting, airdrying, braidouts. Disasters after disasters:wallbash:

So yeah, I came to the conclusion, that i loove hair and everything related to it, but i'd rather let my hairstylist take care of it !!
My god you are gorgeous!!!!:yep::yep::yep:

I'm one of the formerly scissor happy members.
Like Sareca basically almost all my hair now is new LHCF hair.
Since I stopped cutting this year I went from barely SL to almost APL.
However I'm gaining thickness faster then length.
