For those that are seeing family, going out, etc, how will you be wearing your hair? Also, what will you be wearing to dinner?

I will be wearing my hair down ( I have short cut  ) but I will be wearing dressy clothes

i still don't know. I just did a caramel treatment to straighten my ng for thanksgiving. now all i need is a hairstyle. i want a big french braid but i don't know how to do that. so i may just just my phony bun. i do know i want my ends covered.

Good question Bre....I just deep conditioned overnight because I am 10 weeks post relaxing and wanted to do something cute to my hair for Thanksgiving. Wearing it down is out of the question:nono: so I brought some green rods and setting lotion and I am going to shirly temple rod it. It will be very cute and will hide my new growth:yep:. Usually when I do this and pull the curls apart I get lots of compliments:grin:.

In a Bun for Thanksgiving and flat ironed if I go out that Friday and Saturday night and back in a bun on Sunday....

I plan to wear my hair down because last time I saw my family was over a year ago and I was wearing a weave. They will be happy to see my hair grew back lol.

Im going to do a rollerset and I need it to last over the weekend. I did a pretty good job on my first rolllerset with my pibbs and macheries dvd...but it only lasted a couple of days for me bc I think my hair needs a little setting lotion. Also I dont think I will comb the curls all the way out. I may just try to pincurl and then saran wrap that lol.

Im going to do this as an experiment tomorrow bc Im off. Then if I like it Ill set it again Wednesday night so it will be fresh for Thanksgiving and get me thru the weekend. Hopefully all Ill need to get me thru the weekend is some serum, some pins to pincurl, and a scarf.

I haven't thought about it. However, I'll probably wear it up so I can get my eat on without my hair getting all in the way.

Im going experiment with a faux bob.
I was watching the Style channel yesterday and they showed how to create the look of a bob without cutting your hair. I know Sisterslick has done this technique before but actually seeing the steps on tv really made the process clearer.

So I will rollerset as usual but instead of wrapping my hair I will roll the ends under & secure underneath using mini clawclips (this is what the stylist used on the show). The clawclips will offer a firmer hold than regular clips. Hopefully I can achieve a tapered effect in the back while leaving more length in the front. I'll be sure to post picture.

I'm gonna blowdry and flatiron it. Dh's family has never seen my hair (I used to stay weaved up) So now it's time to show off

I'll be working. :ohwell: I'll probably just wear a twistout. I thought about getting it straightened but since I'm not going anywhere it's not that big of a deal.

YES! please post pics

I'm trying to figure that out right now. I just washed it finally but I can't decide if I want to do straightened hair, twist out, or just a plain old bun. My family in Georgia doesn't see me to often, even though I live here, so I'm thinking I might straighten it.

If I actually get to see family (mine or my SO's), I will rollerset or do a flexirod set. I have to work that day, so I may just keep it in a bun:nono:

I am getting it straightened. But not just for Thanksgiving. I am taking my Grad pic on Tuesday and i cant wear a bun:ohwell:. Plus I havent checked my progress since being here since early October. Its my first time seeing it straight in over a month. Im excited. With permission from Tee, I am putting a clear rinse in tonight to make its extra soft and hopefully tame this new growth. I hope i dont look too triflin in my pics... lol:rolleyes:

I'm going to wear my hair down...normally I'm always in a ponytail...so this will be a treat even for me...and I am wearing very loose clothes so I can get my eat on...:lachen::lachen:

I am wearing my hair in a bun inspired by Sarah Jessica Parker (see attached picture).

Since I just got a relaxer last Wednesday, I can't get it cornrowed :wallbash:, so I will probably do a combination of wearing it out (it's almost shoulder, ya'll!! :yep:), and wearing it up in the HairZing. I know I shouldn't wear it out too much since it will definitely rub on my clothes.

I am traveling so I don't want to fool with it too much.

As far as outfits, I will be casually cute. Probably just jeans and a nice shirt; we all go to my aunt's house to eat and it can sometimes get hot since so many folks roll through and the oven stays on. I will be getting my gumbo ON! :)

My standard bun. :ohwell:

Both my Mom and Dad came down for a visit and saw that my hair is long already, so I don't need to prove anything. I'm trying to work hard to get another inch before I relax for Christmas. So, it's basically full throttle from here on out: wearing my standard buns, keeping it moisturized, increasing protein, exercise, water, staying on top of my vitamins, etc. It'd be great to get the standard 1/2 inch, but even better to get more!!! :yep:

I plan on wearing my hair in the messy updo bun, with assistance from a hair piece (like the bun that's in Southerntease's blog) with a head band. I'll probably be wearing slacks and a sweater to dinner.

I'm going to wash, condition, blow dry and flat iron my hair!!! Using my new Babyliss TT Pro hot brush & flat iron!!! Cant wait!

*check for my november updates, cuz I will post!!

Where I'll be is pretty informal so I will be wearing fat clothes so I can throw down. :lachen::grin: I'll wear my hair in two mini princess leia buns or wigging it.:yep:

I can't wait to have the length some of you ladies have. Gimme one more year baby, one more year  I am going to straighten my hair tonight, that way i can wear it down through friday because on saturday i'll be back at the gym and my hair will be in its normal wash and go state from then on. I will be missing 2 days of exercise but it's ok i guess.

I will be wearing my charcoal slacks with a black thick turtleneck:grin:

I forgot to mention what I will wear......jeans & a shirt, nothing fancy. I'm going to my moms house which will be pretty informal so I'll be sure to have a pair of footies in my purse :look: Gotta be comfortable :yep:
