The price depends on where you are and what consultant you select. I paid about $600 initially and had about 7inches of hair including relaxer. I checked out the consultant section on the website www.sisterlocks.com and I also asked everyone I came across with sisterlocks who there consultant was and whether or not they were happy with the service they received. I'm so pleased to see so many people on the board seem to be cool with locking. Maybe I'll stop just lurking around the board![]()
i read a blog a few months ago where the lady combed her locs out after 3 years!i didn't know you could do that. She still had a beautiful head full of hair when she was done too
Yep it can be done. I combed out my locs after 3 1/2 years
Wow sistalocs are gorgeous! Do you have to be natural to get sistalocs?
It's pics like these and the many blogs & fotkis I've visited in the past few weeks that have made my decision very easy.....SisterLocks here I come!!!!!
sisterlocks are smaller than most traditional dreadlocks. they are patented so only those who have paid to receive the training can perform the service. they also typically cost more than traditional locs. they are started with a woven pattern, not comb coils, palm rolling, product (beeswax,)etc. they are also the only locs that can be started on relaxed hair. sisterlocks also provide a larger variety of style options. check out my album and here is a great link:
