Dread.............Locks????

I noticed that there isn't a thread on locks ( or as some call it dreadlocks). I love locs and was wondering if there was anyone out there that are growing locs and how are you taking care of them? Any pictures? I am interested later in my life to grow some long beautiful neat looking locs.

My mom has had them for around 7 years now. She started with a TWA and decided to grow locks. They are around Bra clasp now. I will try to find some pics and post them. She recently bought some Carol's Daughter products for maintenence. I will ask her about her regimen.
