When you stretch around 10-12 weeks do you see a big diffrence in length when you relax. About how much do you notice? Thinking of stretching 10 weeks.

When I finally relaxed two weeks ago I had gone from nape length to neck length. I relaxed my hair before that sometime in April or May.

The last time I stretched 12 weeks, I went from a little below SL to almost APL. Hopefully with this next relaxer, I'll finally be able to claim the coveted APL *crossing fingers*

I so hope you make it! I am going to relax before Christmas either 10-11 wks post I hope as long as I am not breaking to bad.

Yep, went from little past shoulder to APL! Didn't have to trim because my ends weren't split!

usually do at least 4 months (about 15 weeks) before i relax again. I see a lot of growth! I am hoping for and easy MB when I relax next time!

No need for trims just because your hair is uneven, the rest will catch up and make the thin look thicker. All your hair do not grow at the same time, so you could be cutting new length before the other hairs had a chance to sprout.

You can spot check for splits and only cut that strand.

Did you trim after your 12-week stretch?

Nope, my ends don't look bad at all. I'm on a personal ''no trims till my first anniversary challenge'', but even after my anniversary, I'm just gonna get a little dusting. Just to make it look neater.

I guess I'm the only one that doesnt get growth from stretches. I usually relax ever 10-12 weeks. and I don't see any results. But my hair also grows verrryy slow. I'm talking like a little less than 1/4 per month. I like to stretch because I know it's healthier for my hair not to get relaxers so often.

I started relaxing every 12 weeks earlier this year, and for the first time in my life, I started to really notice a difference in length. I went from just brushing SL to APL in 6 months.

Plus, long stretching makes all the low manipulation and hard work worth it. All that progress at once makes it seem like everything is growing faster.

I have found that my last relaxer was at 6 weeks and I could have easily stretched past that time I just hope that I see the results.

I have stretched for 13 weeks, wanted to go for 17 weeks but my hair can't take it. I am getting really tangeled hair so I now know that my hair can go past 13 weeks and I will now be setting my timer accordingly.

Which means I am touching up this weekend, I can wait. if I did an aphogee tonite, is that enough time for my touch up this saturday?

I would think so. Did anyone use growth aids? I am using MN and I am 3 weeks post and my hair has some definete new growth more than I notice without it.
