I normally wash and rollerset my hair once a week because I work and go to grad school at night and don't have much time to wash twice a week.

I wear a half wig and use a sulfur mix that has 7 different oils in it and it's been working great

Only issue is that by mid week my hair thats left out in front starts to look a bit greasy and weighed down and so does my half wig. I normally use baby powder to get the shine out but some ended up on my regular hair and i just brushed it in. Wow! :yay: after a few brushes. My normal hair was back to being light and fluffy like after a fresh roller set. I've been doing this once a week for a few weeks and it seems to work. I wanted to know if there were any ingredients in the baby powder that would possibly harm my hair in the long run. I use johnson and johnson. TIA

YES

I learned that when I was younger. It is something women use to do back in the day all the time because before the perm, women used the pressing comb and some people had oil build up on their hair. I used to see people in my family do this all the time when I was younger.

Your hair in you siggy really looks shiny and healthy

Thanks for the info. Yay, i guess I don't have to worry now. Thanks for the compliment. My hair has been doing so great in the past few months all thanks to LHCF. I want to start a scalp massage challege since i'm slacking in that dept but I don't know how many people would be interested

I think that is a good idea.
When you really look at it I actually spend at lease a couple of days per week putting a folicle treatment on my scalp so spending a extra couple of minutes in my hair like right after my hair dries from DCing might be interesting...at least something to keep track up for references.

I am in if it comes up.

I would love to do a scalp massage challenge. for the past month or so Ive been massaging my scalp before bed.

For me since a like stretchng my relaxers, when I massage my scalp with jojoba oil it keeps my NG for tangling and matting. Also stella, like you mentioned its great for blood circualtion/stimulating hair growth.
