Just wanted to say gorgeous hair, Bre Bre. BTW, do you henna too. I noticed some color in the pic of the back of your head. And your little angel looks just like you cute.

Thanks! No, i don't henna. I think my cellophanes just last for a loooooong time, or my hair has some natural brown highlights or something. I noticed the color too and that happens a lot. I must have some red in there somewhere that can only be seen in bright light

Your hair came out great, so thick and full of curls. It looks like your style can last at least a week...good job! That scarf looks great, what style. I think I'm going to take a trip to Target.

BTW little Bre-Bre looks so cute, she has so much personality:yep:

I love scarves! I have about 5 or 6 from target and they were no more than maybe $7/each. They have so many colors and patterns to chose from. :yep:

Thank you ladies for the compliments. I can't multiquote but wanted to again say thanks.

Ummm oahq, what is going on with your sig TODAY?? :lachen:

Pretty!!!!!!! Did you do those on dry or wet hair?

These were done on damp hair, barely wet. I applied lotta body, water and infusium (these three items are in my spray bottle) after toweling my hair dry very good. Applied some anti frizz sunsilk and lastly coconut oil. The trick (for me) is that the hair can not be wet (like just out of the shower soaking wet), it needs to be just barely damp.

How could I have missed this thread:) Very nice Bre Bre:) The scarf also sets it off. I've done banu knots before and I thought they could have looked better. I guess practice makes perfect:)

Thanks, its a scarf. You must go to target and pick some up! :yep:

or ebay! I picked up a lot of 15+ silk scarves that I fold and use as headbands for like 4 bucks plus shipping.

AND... I thought you used bantu knots on wet hair! Maybe that's why mine never come out right! I have to do it on DRY hair...right? :perplexed

For me, its when the hair is damp, not fresh out of the shower dripping wet. If it's too wet it will take 2 days to dry. I have found that when its just damp it can dry usually over night and also i am able to straighten it out a little better before i twist it up. Maybe i should do a tutorial for how I do them to explain it a little better because also I do a two strand twist before i wind it up into the bantu.

I prefer to do bantu knots on dry hair with a moisturizer. I think it's too much manipulation for wet or damp fine hair.
Your bantus out result is beautiful!
