i hear ladies saying they use the shampure to clarify

I know, I was looking at the same thing, which made me wonder, hummmm

I just bought this about 2 weeks ago. I wouldn't really use it to clarify it's more moisturizing than anything. I use there detoxifier to clarify.

The Aveda Detoxifier is STRONG though...for my hair anyway...it just makes it very dry. I have to follow up with a good moisturizing poo and con and I deep condition for an hour or more after using it. I've only used it twice. I think it's for SERIOUS build up and not to be used unless you have really dirty hair. I use Keracares first lather...it's not as drying at all. I love Aveda but that Detoxifier is no joke....lol.

I use the Brillant shampoo as a clarifier; and it works great for my hair. The Detoxifier was too drying for my hair and so are regular cheapie clarifying shampoos.
