Ok, this question isn't for those ladies trying to nurse their damaged or otherwise unhealthy strands back to life again (like me, with my hyperthyroid issue). For other ladies though, it seems as if their hair is long, thick, undamaged, and relatively healthy (at least from the pics & their comments)...and yet, they don't seem to be enjoying their long hair.
Do these ladies also 'tense up' if the man in their life reaches over to run his fingers through their hair, even though we all know long tresses are a magnet for most men? Do these ladies beg off certain 'bedroom' positions or activities, afraid it will muss their hair or nightly do? Is there a point in time where they see themselves wearing their long hair down on a daily basis vs. just as a 'treat' on special occasions only? Is there ever a point where you've 'arrived' in your hair journey, and can actually enjoy your hair vs. always being on a journey to get to where you want to be with your hair? Just curious as to if there is ever an end to the constant vigilance most of us here give our hair...OR is this our new way of living...forever?
