I voted once a week, but there have been times when I missed a week because I didn't have time. I try to do it first thing on a Sat. or Sun. morning, or after work if I know I'm not doing anything else that evening.

I voted hardly ever. right now, airdrying is doing it for me...I am yet to find a leave-in moisturizing enough to keep my rollersets soft and hydrated... I DC, spray on some S-curl,seal with Elasta QP mango butter, bun and go.

Plus, it takes me 2+ hrs to set my hair...I'msuper slow I know...

my arms are tired just thinking about it

I voted twice per week. I wash on Saturdays and Tuesdays or Wednesdays. I want to try airdrying a rollerset. I've never done that. I just want to compare. My hair loves rollersets.

Same here. Sometimes I don't do it out a sheer laziness, as I can always fall back on airdrying. But I love the look of a rollerset, so I try to it regularly.

I asked the question because i have recently been roller setting with dryer
twice a week for the past 2 wks, as i wash and deep condition twice a week.
My hair is loving it, i have tried no heat regimen and my hair was really dull and lifeless.
When I had very good and healthy hair in the past I remembered I was going to salon twice a week for deep conditioning and rollersetting, hence the reason why I started this back.
I have been lIving in Ireland for the past ten years its really hard to find salonS and good hair products for black hair, so my hair has really had set backs have gone from armpit length 10yrs ago to shoulder length now, i even had half off my hair chopped at one point in time.
I GUESS is good to see that others rollerset biweekly and still have healthy as i thought the only option was without heat.

I usually rollerset w/a dryer on low heat once a week, on Saturdays, but I'm going to start rollersetting twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays and see how that works out.

I rollerset then airdry during the day or overnight. I only use the hairdryer once every three months when I go get a relaxer at my hairdresser.

I DC and rollerset my hair twice a week - Saturday and Wednesday. Even though Im not wearing my hair out I still rollerset, sit under dryer, take rollers out, crosswrap and go back under with Saran Wrap. In the morning I put in a bun and add my phonybun and go. So far my hair is loving it.

I voted twice a week. But, it's actually every third day so some weeks I rollerset and dry three times a week. I have also found that if I look back at the time when my hair was almost APL, it was when I was really faithful about rollersetting and drying my hair at least twice a week.

Now with waist length hair, I have to rollerset and dry under the hood twice a week, on Wednesday in the salon and on Saturday at home

I have been rollersetting my hair weekly for about 10 months now and my hair is thriving. I've reached lengths that I haven't had since I was a little girl (before I had my first relaxer). I rarely use my flat iron and there's no need for a curling iron since I can maintain my curls throughout the week with pincurling.

I try to rollerset as often as I can under the dryer (every 2 weeks). but when i can't, airdried rollerset is sufficient (though it is not as straight nor bouncy).

I rollerset every week with a dryer. I like to set the dryer to a cool/warm temperature.

I've tried air drying, but my hair doesn't like it, or I haven't mastered the technique yet. It's like I have to apply double the products.

Yes my hair also loves a twice per week dc and roller set.

PS: Albane we have the same birthday! I definitely would love to see some of your updates.

I rollerset 1-2 times per week. My hair comes out best this way but I am trying to learn to wet wrap and to blow dry too so I have some options.

I voted twice a week. Typically on Sunday and Wednesday. So far, so good. I like to blowdry and flat iron my hair for updates and length checks, though.

I rollerset with a hooded dryer on low/cool temp once a week. If I don't take the rollers out the same day, I will air dry. My hair loves rollersets.

I try to only sit under the dryer once a week...but sometimes i rollerset twice a week if i want to keep looking nice and chic...I dun have pin curling down pack yet :nono:
