I have tried the dabur brand although I have had really good results in that it made my hair soft and strong I am now in the mist of finding pure amla oil with no minerals. I think I tried the shampoo a long time ago and it didnt go down too well with the human hair extensions I had at the time - it made them just stick together like glue...so I am not too sure about that on actually hair....

Did your Dabur brand smell really perfumey (in a bad way)? I have some and I want to try it but if I have to smell that all day I will pass out.

I know dlewis was using it and had very good results. I tried and because of scalp issues it made my scalp act up.

I use Dabur Amla oil regularly. I use it everytime I prepoo mixed with ORS mayo. I don't prepoo every wash but when I do, Amla is always used. I also oil rinse (thnx sareca) with it and that's the bomb. hmmm I've used it in my spray bottle for braidouts. It makes my hair overall stronger and it's definitely has more shine. In fact, I prolly need to order more or get with my pakistani buddy at work and get addresses of some indian stores around here. She said they carry it.

I notice the Dumbar oil here locally as well but it's the smelly kind with the mineral oil I would love to find pure Alma oil. Has anyone been successful in finiding it?
