I would like to know who has used this new color mousse by Soft Sheen?

How quick does it wash out?
Was it worth the trouble?
Or is it another color rthat does not take...

Any info is appreciated

I just saw this in the BSS today...I've heard dissapointing results from the color pulse (Loreal's version of this). Has anyone tried this yet?

I tried the pulse. It never rinses clear, so I didnt even try. My color was intense but after the first wash, it wasnt as noticeable. It definitely didnt last the 6 or 8 washes that they claim it will. But I really liked the color.

:) That's good to know...since they're similar maybe the pulse will have that type of effect. I'm starting to think that with dark hair color that's not permanent will have veryyy minimal effects.

I love it because it makes your hair so shiny and strong. It seals the cuticles. All you do after shampooing (before conditioner) part hair in for sections and apply the mousse one section at a time and make sure to use the whole can. I actually used it right after I rinsed my relaxer out (before neutralizing). Since your hair is long you may need two (or more) cans. And also the results will vary depending on your natural hair color. My natural hair color is dark brown so when I first used it, it looked more jet black and when the light hit my hair then I could see the color. So I reapplied like a week later just to make the color more vibrant. I called soft sheen carson first and they advised me that it would be safe because it is only a rinse. It did not last long because i started co washing a lot and therefore rinsed the color out quicker than normally (which would be 6-8 shampoos) and the shampoos & conditioners I used were not color friendly. The picture in my avatar of Kelly Rowland has the color plum baby in her hair.

That picture is what makes me want to try it because I love that color. I saw it in a magazine. It looks like she may have had streaks first though. I don't have any other color in my hair and it's off black (1b).

I tried it and I did not like it at all...

Really, I'm sorry to here that what did you not like about it? I must admit I was disappointed the first time I tried it also but I got used to it and now I like it. I am thinking about going back to jet black or blue black.
