They look so convenient and easy....so what do you ladies think?

Bumping.....I'm telling you this looks like the bomb so to all the roller setting/flexirod divas and wanna be roller setting/flexirod divas (like myself) this is def a good investment. I just downloaded and watched the "how to apply" movie it was only 2 mins and it looks so easy a kid could do it. I think these are the truth...

I'm not sure that there would be enough tension in these to do a really smooth wet-set, either.

It is more like flexirods instead of a regular roller set but judging from the movie ...its alot easier than flexirods. You ever put beads in someone's hair using one of those things where you can put all the beads on the hair at one time? well these are similar to that because it has a hook that you pull through the curler and you place your hair around the hook and pull through and thats it (guess u have to see the mini movie to get a better idea). You don't have to worry about rolling your hair up the curler. Just thought it was interesting and wanted to share. I will be purchasing them next month to see if I like them...which I should because i love ribbon/spiral curls.

You are right you can do it with a curling iron....you can also use a curling iron instead of a roller set to get regular curls but its more heat involved.

I think you have to watch the video to get a good look at how/what they do and IMO it is not enough manipulation to cause any damage/breakage to your hair but...I could be wrong...but it looks pretty safe to me.

It sounds interesting. I've never heard of these before. I don't know if I would use them if I had BSL hair or longer, because that might be a lot of pulling, but I definitely would try them.

Cute! It's a straw set with bigger self rolling straws. I like it, but will it fit under a standard dryer bonnet?

ETA: Ok, I just watched the video. I love that thing! You probably can't do it with natural hair but relaxed ...

Off to see how much they costs. I'm totally flexi rod impaired and they look like a good alternative.
