Using my Nilotica to detangle my hair was actually a good idea lol. I love being able to “play” in my butter by applying loads to my hair. When I’m done finger detangling and stuff, I plan on putting a shower cap on my head for a little bit so I can soak up all the Shea goodness

or make him buy you another one. Two, one for emotional distress and the other to replace the one he threw away lol.

Still trucking with my shea. Every wash day I use KCNT and seal with my shea mix.

Once I learned the perfect Shea blend for me, I could not do without it. I slightly vary the consistency with the season - more firm for summer, a little loose for winter. It’s to accommodate changes in room temperature.

I’m actually using Shea now to put in some twists with that Outre Twisted Up hair. I apply some to my hair and some to the extension hair.

I got braids a couple of days ago! They’re crochet box braids and I did them myself! First time I’ve ever attempted such a feat! I used the versatile braiding pattern underneath. Now I need to keep my hair moisturized and sealed beneath this and I’ll be good.

I made a lovely, large batch of shea butter mix today. And even though I had washed my hair recently, I washed it again just so I could put the mix on freshly washed hair.

I made my own hair conditioner recently. I cooked okra, used the water to make oatmilk, and blended that with shea butter. I like it my hair feels strong and got super defined

Well, I replaced the 1 lb. of shea with a 5 lb. tub and threw in 8 oz. of Kombo Butter to try out. That'll teach him!

I’m happy this thread is still going! I just returned to Queen Shea last week. I’m not ready to make my own concoctions just yet, but I’m using the rest of the Shea products I have.

How is everyone doing??!!

I know I fell way off this year on a lot of things, especially my hair. I'm trying to get back in the swing of things.

I got 2 new perfume oils just before Thanksgiving. One became pumpkin pie scented whipped shea, and when that's finally finished the other will be snickerdoodle.

In a day or two I'm going to straighten my hair for Christmas and post my photo then

This is 1st notice to myself to be more intentional and consistent with Queen Shea. I'm so random and have so many products to use, that this will be a first step with putting a regimen together for myself.
