so What is the best product to use on your ends?

Yes. I don't like the original creme. I think it breaks my hair off due to the lanolin. The Healthy Ends leave-in is better. Honestly, I learned to stop wasting my money on this line and just stick with Qhemet or Elasta QP if I insist in being cheap. The Qhemet products are so moisturizing and rich, that I don't have to use much. in a week. While with other cheaper stuff, like Profectiv, I have to keep reapplying and sealing. I dunno, it just sits on my hair.

I like "SOS Split Ends" for my ends. I usually don't have to trim. My last trim was in Sept 06...next trim Sept 07

I swear by castor oil on my ends. It really strengthens them and keeps them from splitting and breaking.

I use a leave-in moisturizer, like Dove (the one in the light blue spray bottle, i forget what line its from) and seal w/ avocado butter every night, and then either roll my hair in satin covered sponge rollers, or wrap. My ends come out smoooooooooth in the morning...and VERY moisturized.:yep:

After I wash---Beyond the Zone Spit-Mender.
After I got a fresh trim in June I decided to really focus on my ends--this stuff really keeps my ends in good shape.

I also use ORS Olive Oil Cream on the ends as a moisturizer.

Other than that---I used a creamy leave in (just a tad) and I focus on my ends.
Sunsilk Hydra TLC

I actually LOVE the Profective MegaGrowth Hair Lotion. It's moisterizing, smells great, and affordable.....but I guess I'm the only one....:look:

My absolute staple is Ego Boost Split End Mender. I use it every time I wash my hair and work a little bit just into the ends. I haven't had a trim in a year and my ends are still strong and full. I rarely get splits. :yep: It has been an excellent product for me and I reccommend it to most women I meet.

As far as daily moisturizing, I use S-Curl and Sta-Sof-Fro spray. In the winter, to additionaly protect my ends, I use a heavy, rich creme called Vigorol Vita Cream, but I think it's been discontinued. :ohwell:

I use Hairobics hair oil or detangler on my ends, Africa's Best Ultimate Herbal Oil or an oil blend of olive, jojoba, avocado, almond, and coconut for my ends.

Or I use Constant Care for Ends, TCB Naturals, Hairobics hair and scalp booster, Wondergro Shea Butter Mega Moisture or Softee Indian Hemp.

In my opinion: nothin tops Ultra Black Hair Moisturizing Creme Lotion: its the best for our kind of hair that moisturizes and softens the hair w/o all those chemicals either: it eliminates:
  • dryness
  • breakage
  • brittlness
  • damaged ends that split
  • weighing the hair down
....I swear by this stuff for the rest of my life: this stuff is made from a lady who had breakage on her ends just like us and made the perfect product that caters to those needs.

I agree. I've been using this for years and tried other similar products only to come back to this, it works the best for me.

I have two profectiv staples. They are the leave-in hair strengthener (pink jar) and the anti-breakage creme (yellow jar).

I use the pink jar for moisture and daily headdress. I use the yellow jar on my ends.

I might stray from time to time and get some QP Mango butter or Jonathan products silk dirt creme but I  my profectiv.
