So it sounds like the key is MOISTURE.....should I not use a protien/strength product on my ends????

I was assuming they needed strength and that is why they split....please help me out:grin::grin:

split ends can be caused by lack of moisture. dry ends tend to split.

To protect my ends I baggy with any conditioner and oil. Right now Im using suave coconut and castor oil.:yep:

I use Silken Child creme moisturizer or UBH moisturer and seal with Unrefined coconut oil, which is the only oil that doesn't make my hair shed.

last nite i used 100% shea butter mixed with some oil i had around (forget the name of it) on my ends and today my airdried ends feel like silk....definitely a keeper.

I use elasta qp mango butter sealed w/coconut, castor oil, or olive oil...I usually do this nightly or at least every other nite. I have not had to have a trim in 3 months at the salon, usually I can make it 4 months without a trim, we'll see if I can go longer this time!!
