Well ladies, it has been a year, and I NEVER thought I would be doing the things I am now to take care of my hair.

I went from getting my hair relaxed faithfully every six weeks (complete with oil sheen, brown gel, pump-it-up and hard styles) to stretching for 3 months or more at a time. I am a "bunner" and protective styler now and my hair has totally changed.

I had a few setbacks this year, but now I know how to take care of my own hair, and I fired my stylist! I PROMISE I have pics...I'm just waiting until I have real progress to show before sharing. Stay tuned!

:waytogo: Progress is progress no matter how big or small...I'm sure your hair looks beautiful. We all have had setbacks,(especially the first year) but just stay focused and determined and your hair will grow lengths you never thought was possible:yep: Happy Hair-Aversary!

Happy Hair-aversary :woohoo::woohoo:
Although you have had setbacks you are doing a great job......

Congratulations InJesusName on your hair-anniversary. Actually you past a mile stone, being able to take care of your own hair well enough to fire your stylist. This is tremendous progress...Booyah:congrats:

Great! An entire year of caring for your hair in a healthy, wonderful new way. Congratulations on your anniversary and get those pictures up...you've already made progress. Oh, my goodness..would you believe I just realized I've been here a year too?
