White Rain Tropical Coconut (WRTC)

Since we didn't have a thread for this item, I wanted to start one.

This product is the favorite product of MonaLisa. I saw her raves and finally gave it a try. I am in love with the product.

Now I know there are some who will think, "That cheap stuff is not going to do anything!" I use to think this also. Now, this is one of my favorite conditioner for co washes. (I use it for cowashes only)

All the WRTC users, come out of hiding. Tell us why you like and why. If you didn't like our 'precious' conditioner, come out anyway and tell us why. (Yeah, I guess we will let you speak. But DO NOT come in here hating on the WRTC to hard! You will politely be asked to leave.)

If you haven't tried it, please give it a try. It's only a dollar at most stores.

i dont knock cheap stuff at all. But i tied this one ( i looooove coconut) and it dried my hair out soo severely after only one usage it took me a couple of months to retain any kinda moisture. But im glad it worked for you! ..shooo....i wish it did for me cause it smells DIVINE!!

Sorry it didnt work for you. Did you use it for cowashing? You had some serious issues with dryness. Sounds like you finally found a good moisturizer.

I use it for my co-wash whenever I am going to do a braidout. It detangles my hair well and it gives me nice curls. Sometimes I mix in Vatika oil or Shikakai powder, both seems to work well. I am not crazy about the coconut smell but I like how soft it makes my hair. It is the only conditioner I can use when I am 10 week post relaxer, the tangles melt away.

I agree with the bold!!! It leaves my hair crazy soft! The softness is unreal.

I haven't used the Tropical Coconut one but the way ya'll are talking about it, i need to get some. But the Fruit Fortifying one is excellent! and the Energizing Citrus is pretty good as well.

WELL, I finally got smart and emailed and called the Company. The lady told me the product is sold only in the Dollar Tree stores in my city! I would have never thought to go there looking for it.

I love the VO5 Tea Therapy as well (Nourishing Chamomile), so you might like this as well.

I did a search looking for a thread on WRTC. When I didnt see one, I was in awe. I thought, "What, MonaLisa didn't create a WRTC thread?

True, just a dollar. Worth it to try.
This is the only White Rain product that works for me.

Bwaaaaaaaaaah @ Lil Morenita's "banning" - she has had me wracked with guilt for like three threads....

and yes, co-signing...this White Rain Conditioner is the only one that has all around worked for me no matter how many weeks post relaxer (the closest runner up would be the White Rain for Women of Color -the bootleg Pantene version in the brown bottle..)

But all the rest......I would never recommend from my experiences.
My hair likes coconut, as long as there's some coconut in the mix, my hair is happy...

AK46, go to Safeway. I live in the Bay Area, and most Safeways have it. In fact, it is often BOGO or "buy two get one free."
