White Rain Tropical Coconut (WRTC)

Ok, I picked up a bottle while in Pathmark yesterday ($1.29). I was going to get the matching shampoo but I put it back because of the Ammonium Laureth Sulfates.

I added about 1½ tsp of baking soda to a glob of WRTC conditioner to wash my hair in the shower. Then I used more WRTC after rinsing and left that in for a few minutes before rinsing again. My hair felt so soft, and smelled really good (although Suave Coconut conditioner smells yummier :duck: )

I felt a little guilty using it for a co-wash since it was thick like a deep conditioner.

I really like V05 because I can get the matching poos and the great scents, but WRTC will be in my cheapie rotation for conditioner washes.

I'll keep an eye out for sales in discount stores.

I know, but that's another thing that I like about it. It's cheap and thick, so good for CO natural hair.:D

I forgot you were in NYC.....girl, the Pathmark sale ended on Thursday when they were 99 cents each. They were the extra bonus bottles too - I bought 7 of them...:look:

Ugh! My fault. I always walked right by it before. Next time.

I'm also waiting for the next sale at other drug and discount stores.

You know....I was starting to really like you......but now, I have to compete with you for WRTC stock...... I'm kinda re-thinking ev'rythang....:look:

Nothing personal. Strictly junkyism...:ohwell:

I use this after hearing MonaLisa and Letitia go on and on and on about it. I had kind of given up on the cheapies. Well, I am now a hopeless convert. It is my one and only cheapie and I will never give it up!! I use it for cowashes and as a final rinse any time I need detangling. It makes my hair so soft and manageable. I don't know how they do it for so little money. This is the only product besides BT that I always have several in stock. Can't live without it. I have also used it as a leave in and it was excellent. Nice moisture!

WRTC is the best!!!!! :thewave:

I went into Dollar Tree set on not buying ANY hair products... but something told me just to look and see whats there...and I see WRTC! I've never seen this stuff anywhere else. They had tons of the shampoo, but only 2 bottles of the conditioner (darn PJs). Just like my Suave Milk and Honey experience, I felt obligated to buy both bottles.

I'n going to co wash with it tonight and see what happens :drunk:

I just came back form the grocery store, Giant Foods here in Maryland, and I found WRTC for $1.19, I'm going to use it for the first time when I cowash this week. I hope I don't regret buying just one botte!:nono:

I really dont think you will regret it.

leleeepop.......I think I will try it in my spray bottle next. Thanks for the idea.

Mango....Thanks for your reply.

GoldenBreeze.....I am glad you like it too! :yay:
Try it, I got it off the Motown Girl website. 3 oz water,1oz. White rain or Sauve, and half oz oil. I use sweet almond, castor,or my beloved coconut most of the times depending how thick or light I want the moisturizer to be. I'll add rosemary, rosewater or peppermint in also sometimes.

Thanks so much leleepoo. I have been using Suave Milk and honey as my base.

I don't really like Suave or V05 so hopefully this will be better.

I found it for 99cents at CVS. I'm glad I didn't have to go on a wild goose chase like with some of the other cheapie condishes.

Peep how I just wrote this down though....*thumbs up lp*

leleepop,
what does the almond oil and castor oil do when add to conditioner?
The castor oil makes a heavier moisturizer while the almond oil makes a lighter one if you dont want anything too heavy. You can make one with olive oil and any kind of oil you like. hth

I glad you didnt have to go on that wild goose chase either. It's no fun. :wallbash: I hope you love it as much I do.:yep:

OK. SC LHCF Ladies and Lurkers dont be trying to hide this conditioner behind the other White Rain Conditioners.(smile)
Real Products Junkies are aware of this.

See, no disrespect, but now you're just talking out of turn right now. There was no need to even bring this technique into the discussion...:nono:
