Mizani has a new relaxer system!!

Ya'll think I need to get the WHOLE system or just the relaxer??

I presently only use the Mizani mild relaxer for fine/color treated and everything else is stuff I've tried and proven to work.

You should get the whole system so you can know how well they work together. At the paynes website you can get the entire system for around $40.

I love ORS but this looks pretty interesting. I've never tried Mizani before. If this is lye, I wonder if they'll make it in no-lye? If anyone with 3b/3c hair tries this out, please post a review. Thanks.

It's the problem of finding the right hairdresser to bring it to... all these steps will easily confuse my Dom hairdresser .

Okay I just bought this system. I hope my stylist will use it when I go to relax next Wednesday. I had it shipped to my parents place so it will be there when I fly home. The more andmore I read about it it sounds GREAT. If she wont use it I might have to put it in myself w/ the help of my mom. I will post reviews and pics in my fotki after next Wednesday. 5mos + a new relaxer, so wish me luck ladies.

I just got settled on Optimum Multi-Mineral Mild. DANG DANG DIGGITY DANG!!! I can't switch so soon. I do look forward to reviews. Maybe this time next year, I'll feel a lil frisky for a change.

I think I am going to like this!

I have a confession though. I am not going to be able to use it right now.

I recently decided to give my hair and my tight schedule a break for a while. I am going to get my hair braided.

Well, at least I have this kit ready when the time comes.

The only special ingredient in this relaxer is the Shea butter, though. Not that big a comparison because it is a no-lye, but Profectiv has more yummy ingredients. They need to make a LYE relaxer.

Ditto!((( I swear i think the relaxer industry reads LHCF. ))) They're coming out with great sounding relaxers. Creme of Nature has got some kind of sunflower oil relaxer out too. Seems like the industry's gotten hip to adding oils to relaxers.

My stylist at Penny's used this on me last night. I was 14 weeks post and at no time did I feel the burning sensation and I got none of that relaxer smell. It was more like a conditioner in my hair. She used the mild and it got my hair straight really quickly. Her Penny's only uses Mizani and Affirm so I'll definately be using this from now on.

This is a no-lye? I thought it was a lye relaxer. I've been using lye exclusively for the past 3.5 years or so that I've been here. Darn, I was really excited about trying this relaxer "system".
