Payne's has 2 sets: one w/all three relaxers for $115, and one smaller one w/the regular strength for $40

Ummmmm, i def think I am going to try this for my next relaxer... I will have to bring it to the salon with me. The only thing is, they usually want to skip all the extra steps, like basing my scalp, etc :(.

HDew - You are my SHERO!!!!! :lachen: :lachen: I was just about to click that 'Order' Button and I said let me sit my broke, impulse buyin butt down somewhere.. :p PLEASE post your review! When is your next touch up?

 Girl, this came right on time for me. I love my Profectiv, but the longer my hair gets the less I am liking my texlax. I still won't relax bone straight, but I am only about 50% relaxed and I am haveing more drama than anything else. Someone suggested Mizani so I am going to give this one a try.

I need to check my hair care calendar when I get home but I think it will be time the 2nd week of August.

HD,

How much did it cost? Essence talked about it in this month's mag (Tyler Perry on cover) and said the system costs bwt $75 - $115. That's more than Phyto.

I got the small kit. It was about $40. I did not want to spring for the full sized until I try it.

I wonder if you can use the other products as maintenance products? After I use all my products (a least 2 years) then I want to switch to a line exclusively. I think it would be cheaper:lol:

I use the Mild Mizani Relaxer and it doesn't get me bone straight, and I be tryin' (I leave it on for 15 min, and I still have little waves)

My hair is very fine and Motions Oil Mild got me straigher (in less time)...So all that to say, I think Mizani should work fine for you :)

Ditto! I swear i think the relaxer industry reads LHCF. They're coming out with great sounding relaxers. Creme of Nature has got some kind of sunflower oil relaxer out too. Seems like the industry's gotten hip to adding oils to relaxers.

I think that some magzine editors do too. I'm starting to see more and more good hair tips in magazines like Essence and Hype Hair.

I agree! Alot of the new relaxers seem alot like what alot of the ladies here are doing... adding oils to relaxer... using silicon to protect previously relaxed hair... LHCF all the way. ;)

where did you see the one for $115 at? I only see the trial promotion one for $35

Mizani was the best relaxer for my hair when I was relaxed. I'd try it if I was still a relaxed head. It sounds pretty good.

I thought the "h" in Relaxer was a misprint...why are the spelling it "Rhelaxer"...that bothers me for some stupid reason...lol.

:dance7:

i lubs me some Mizani!!! the only thing is I still have almost 2 lbs. left of my Mizani Mild... oh well ya'll don't forget to tell me how it is and it might be my October relaxer anyway

Actually that's Mizani's name for it.

I realize that....I just don't get why they spell it that way...its retarded to me.

Maybe they want it to sound scientific or technologically advanced and different from every other relaxer. (When I see Rh- I think of Rhesus monkeys and the experiments on them :look: )

I dunno  But it is pretty weird.

 It is! I guess it's like they could not come up with something creative.

Yeah, a friend of mine called me the other day all hype asking if ya'll had anything to say about the new Mizani, I'm like the Thermasmooth? that's whe she told me she used it on 7 of her clients and it's the bomb. She said it leaves the hair nice and moistured and there is no need for any other oils or hair dressing to be added once finished.

I'll let her know word got out on LHCF in the morning and I'm awaiting reviews, .

I know someone who has used it on four clients and she is REALLY pleased with it. I'm not surprised...Mizani is da bomb!

Im calling my stylist tomorrow to see if I can bring this home in two weeks when I relax.....it sounds so yummy yummy:D

I also just found out that Mizani is sold on Amazon

But I don't see the Butter Blend. I think I'm going to email them asking when it will be available at Amazon.
