Same here! I honestly always found liquid leave-ins to be a waste of money until I tried this one. I will ALWAYS have this in my stash. Since it takes 9 years for her to ship, I try to buy in bulk when the sales are right. I am not sure if you have tried it, but I have also been loving her Marula Maru. Since your hair likes aloe, you might like it. If I have success with her DC, I will go ahead and get the membership. I HATE that my hair loves her products because of her terrible shipping practices..

@AgeinATL

*Cackles at 9 years.:laugh: Hmph. more like 10* :look:

Agreed about bolded. I hate it too.:ohwell:

8 bottles of Yes to Carrots pampering conditioner. Why 8 you ask? Because they changed the formula and the new formula is TRASH. It's now "nourishing" conditioner, pffft. The pampering conditioner was FINE the way it was. I sent them an angry email and told them to remove my review off of their website. Ugh, I'm so sick of these companies and their b.s. I found the old formula on a few websites. I might pick up some more this weekend. I'm so annoyed right now.

I will say while it still takes a while, it is worth it. You get you items in about 14 business days. The ten business day processing window is accurate that is disclaimed. She is also very responsive on social media and FB messenger so her customer service is great.

I really decided to give her another shot when I met her at the hair show. She was super nice and helpful. I had to jump on that VIP because it was so good and my hair loves her stuff.

Yay, I'm so glad I ordered a Melon Muru! I wanted the Marula Muru but I like fruity scents, not crazy about bananas lol...I am curious about the DC as a leave in. One girl in the IAATC group says when I try it I will want a salon size. I was like, please don't tell me that because with the VIP and free shipping, that will be a good deal!! @AgeinATL

THIS!!! I'm so sick of companies doing this!!! I understand where you're coming from. Last year I had said I was going to try out bases and scenting them myself. At least there would be consistency with ingredients. :mad:

I totally agree. While her shipping situation annoys me, she is very sweet. Now you got me excited to try the DC! I love that she offers salon sizes and the price is very reasonable. I hope you like the marula. I feel that it is totally worth the hype!

@AgeinATL, ditto and her product inconsistencies

LOL - girl you right. She IS consistent with the shipping...she consistently takes 9 years to get my ish to the post office.

Thankfully, I haven't had any issues with inconsistencies because that is where I draw the line. You ain't bout to have me haul and the product doesn't work, look, or perform the same. I have dismissed MANY of these handmade companies for that very reason: Ynobe, Silk Dreams, Blue Rose Beauty, KBB...I hate when they give me the old 'natural products will have inconsistencies due to the nature of the ingredients' line.. that's great, but what am I supposed to do with all this product that no lolongerworks for my hair?! That is why I have been shying away from handmades. I want my item to look and perform the same way each and every time I buy it!

Um.....And you may need to pick up 8 more if you can find them.:look:

*just sayin'*

@AgeinATL; I know I criticize but there are three reasons why I still fox with Soultanicals products

1) My hair loves all but 2 of the products
2) The sales are AWESOME and frequent
3) No matter how much they mess up my order Ayo has always graciously rectified the situation

She knows they have some kinks in their system and unlike some other vendors she has never been rude nor caught attitude with me. Actually a couple times they sold out of products quickly during big sales. When I whined about it on their fb page she rerelisted them and contacted me within minutes so that I was able to get what I needed at the sale price.

I also believe that she takes constructive criticism in stride and uses it to better her products. I make sure to contact her not just when ish is a hot mess but also when her products are on point, especially newly launched products. I trust and hope that she will one day pull it together. In the mean time I cross my fingers before I submit my orders then hunker down and patiently wait because I know and accept that it will be two weeks before I get my tracking number, two weeks before my package actually ships and at least another three days before I receive my package. Sometimes I forget about it and then I go to collect my mail and surprise:bouncy:package.

I agree with all three reasons (especially #2.....that BF sale tho!) and that is why, despite the shipping, I will continue to patronize her. In my opinion she has one of the most unique product lines out and I love her interesting mix of ingredients.

You are right, it's like Christmas when you receive your package in the mail!

I found a base (http://www.organic-creations.com/conditioner-base/369-hair-conditioner-unscented-base-daily-use) that I'm gonna use next wash day. If it's a winner then I won't feel so bad about yes to carrots. If it's a not a winner, I have the raw ingredients (btms, butter, oils, cetearyl alcohol, honey) to make my own conditioner. I just need a dedicated set of pots and another mixer (don't wanna use my pots and mixer that I use for food). I'm so sick of these companies. YTC was perfect. It was OTG, reasonably priced (and had sales often), and had great ingredients. Ugh.

SM BOGO sale at Walgreens:

1 moisture retention shampoo
1 kids extra nourishing mango and carrot shampoo
1 kids detangler coconut/hibiscus
1 raw shea chamomille and argan oil baby head to toe wash and shampoo
1 african black soap body wash
1 red tea and babassu baby head to toe wash and shampoo

@Beany, @NaturallyATLPCH ,@IDareT'sHair

Ya'll know I had to :giveup:and buy somethin' from the SheaMoisture BOGO. I got three more of the baby lotions for my son:

1 x Raw Shea, Chamomile & Argan Oil
1 x Red Bush & Babassu
1 x Olive & Marula

And I bought one each from the Superfruit Complex line shampoo, conditioner and mask. I know I said that I was done with SheaMoisture rinse outs but someone suggested this one, so I'm gonna give it a try.

Now I'm outta here:abducted:'cause ya'll are a bunch of enablers :lala:
