A hit for me so far this month is the Jane Carter products. I bought the travel kit and used each product. They are quite moisturizing on my 4a hair. They are making the curls quite defined. My hair is in a loose bun but quite tempted to wear hair down the next go round. We will see how that goes...

Hits:

Prepooing with Joico Kpak conditioner and Ghee

Shea Moisture Black Soap (hair was soft and clean with no residue film)

Okay African Shea Butter creamy – used this to seal in my leave-ins on wash day, part of my LCB wash day regimen. Results were moisturized soft easy to detangle hair, which remained that way for days. Honestly I think any shea butter mix will do because I had great results with Hydro Quench Systems 5 day moisture as well.

When Vendors send you the tracking number and they havent put it in the mail. If youre not taking my package to the post office until the next day I dont need it. If youre having them come get the packages that is cool as well, I just dont need it. It doesnt alleviate any concerns because youve sent me a printing label notification.

I absolutely HATE this, especially if you need to take it to the post office and it's not being picked up. I need a tracking update the next DAY.

Surprising Hit
SM JBCO shampoo, mask and LI. I didn't have high expectations for these but they all performed exceptionally well. These are stash worthy.

Thinking about getting the leave in for my daughter's hair after her other two products run out.

How did it perform for you? What did it do for your hair?

Hits:
Camille rose curl maker (just don't use it with a leave in)
Cantu curl activator
Bee mine deep conditioner (where have I been). It's amazing with slip for days.
Sm anti breakage mask (a renewed hit)

Misses:
Wig companies making these super tight wigs that don't fit all my natural hair inside the cap. Now I may have to invest in those overpriced wigs.

How did this perform for you? I know a lot of ladies in the Shea Moisture thread like that line.

It really does help with any type of breakage, or excessive shedding. I always see an immediate difference.

I usually like to steam with it, use it as a styler, or use it on damp hair before shampooing.

Thank you. It's in my stash and I'm thinking about using it right after my relaxer in September. :yep:

@shawnyblazes
:thud:That was quick! Membership certainly has it rewards!

I bet both items smell sensational.

What else did you get!:lick:
I only got the balm and the molasses deep constructor. The cowash was 8ozs and free. Then there was a hair essential kit for newbies. I'll give that away.but a bonnet, hair clips , pic and mini products for the loc method were included.

@shawnyblazes

Nice.
We'll have to compare notes on the Molasses Deep constructor.:brainy:

I got that and: Moroccan Silky Silk and the Conditioning Dream Cream.

Early on, I had quite a hefty STicals Stash, now not so much.

But it's Growing!:giggle:

@CodeRed The LI left my hair moisturized, shiny and bouncy. It takes a few minutes to fully absorb but once it did it was great.

I detangle with my LI so I had to wait a few minutes to be able to do that with this LI; that's the only negative I got.

2 hits:

Used TGIN shampoo, DC, green tea leave in, butter cream and argan oil. Moisturizer, shiny defined curls! Always thought argan oil was too light since I use castor oil or blue magic to seal. I might be on to something!!
Palmers protein pack left my hair super soft and moisturized! This is what I've been missing in my routine.

@CodeRed I just re-read your post so I just wanted to add that the JBCO line contains protein in every item.
This is a line that I would use once or twice a month to help restore or maintain protein levels in my hair.

Thank you. I forgot everything in the JBCO line had protein in it... I knew the mask did but because I'm primarily only going to conditioner wash my daughter's hair a protein in her leave - in might not be a bad idea.
