Hopefully I'm able to do an ACV/raw honey rinse (or two). A friend and co-workers commented that my hair is lightening, but I want it lighter :)

I will be straightening tonight!

Cowashed last night with Lisa Rachel Cleansing Conditioner w/ Argan Oil (that I've added Mielle's mint almond oil to), Used APB Creamy Hair Pudding in Cran Peach Vanilla, Sealed with APB Blow Out Crème. Twisted my hair, put my twists in a ponytail, ends bunned to stretch my roots.

I think I want to sit in a salon chair again  but if plans go south i'll

take down braids with coconut oil all over hands/fingers
shampoo with Nexxus
Condition with Nexxus
air dry 50% and then blowdry the rest
rebraid in beehive pattern and put on my new wig

Oil my scalp tonight with essential oils.
I may Re-flat twist with Camille Rose almond jai and rock a twistout tomorrow. Not sure if its worth the trouble with this humid rainy weather we are having.

@divachyk

Please come back with an initial review of the Obia Babbasu DC'er.

@IDareT'sHair it is very hydrating and my hair was super soft upon rinsing it out. Reviews stated it lacked slip so I attempted to combat that in advance by adding oils but it didn't help. Or if it did, I couldn't tell because the conditioner literally has ZERO slip even with oils added in. I could not run the comb through my hair whatsoever when rinsing out the conditioner which I like to do to remove any remaining shed hairs. I resorted to finger detangling. The lacking slip aspect aside, I really like this conditioner because my hair felt amazing. Reviews around the web pretty much are on spot on to exactly what I experienced -- lacks slip but is very hydrating.

Overnight pre-poo with Vatika coconut oil, sunflower oil and Vo5. Shampooed 2x with Redken cleansing cream. Did a cassia/coffee tea rinse and then did a light protein with aphogee curlific texture treatment. DC'd with SM superfruit/glycerin/honey and then did a cold acv rinse. Blowdried on cool and then put my hair in big plaits to stretch it till tomorrow when I re-twist.

I think the blowdrying on cool (i.e. room temp air) may be the root behind these ssk's. Need to figure out a gameplan for them. On the plus side, the hair from my roots to just above my ends is smooth and supple

Sat. 16th
Apply NJoy sulfur pomade followed by 5-10 minute massage
Moisturize with Design Essentials refresher spray and cream moisturizer
Seal with Carol's Daughters Marula oil
Detangle and cornrow

I'm finally going to stop being lazy and henna my hair (it's been like 9 months).
-Henna and Amla on the whole head with an oil.
-Cowash it out with DevaCurl No Poo
-DC with SM Superfruit Complex
-Leave ins: depending on how my hair feels after either Bekura's Palm Tapioca or JC smoothing leave in cream and seal with coconut oil.
-Style a wash n go wish the Argan eco Style I bought yesterday to try it out.

Still in a sew in but I washed my braided base with keracare first step shampoo and acv diluted with water. I used naturellegrow blue marva conditioner to condition my braids (love this stuff). As for my leave out and any hair that is exposed, I used naturellegrow lemon detoxifying conditioning cleanser (another fave) and deep conditioned with a mix of blue marva conditioner, kenra moisturizing conditioner and joico k pak reconstructor. As for the leave in, I used naturellegrow soft and silky, aphrogee keratin & green tea spray and chi silk infusion (keratin). Aidried overnight followed by blowdrying on cool then flaironed. For added shine, I used komaza care jojoba hemp oil.

I think I want to sit in a salon chair again  but if plans go south i'll

take down braids with coconut oil all over hands/fingers
shampoo with Nexxus
Condition with Nexxus
air dry 50% and then blowdry the rest
rebraid in beehive pattern and put on my new wig

Ended up doing my own hair so pleased it took me less than an hr
