Yup, yup and yup!!!sunshinebeautiful said:Another vote for Maxiglide here. I just flatironed my hair with it for the first time yesterday and it turned out lovely -- straight, soft, shiny, and moisturized. I love the steam function.

Go with a Sedu, I love mine!! I was not impressed with the Chi, but have never used a Maxiglide. I think the Solia and Sedu are very similar from what I have read. I am thinking about buying a pink Solia for back up(cuz I think it's too cute), I have had my Sedu a lil over 3 years and i fear it may no longer be with me soon.![]()

I've also had a Chi but I like the maxiglide because I can get all the way to my scalp and not get burned.
It doesn't smoke on my hair.
It has an optional steam burst I use on my ends.
The outside of the plates are not hot, so I can grab it as I pull it down the length of my hair.
And it comes with a flat plate so I dont have to use the plate with detangling pins. !!![]()
