@gorgeoushair

I bought & used this as a R/O and it was not a repurchase:yep:

Yea, this is definitely not a repurchase. This was in my first and only purchase from Claudie's and I'm not impressed...can't remember what else I got besides this and the mango rinse or something like that. This may go in the trash and I hate to throw products in the trash and I rarely do.

Continued Hit: KCCC

Silk dreams RCA
Silk dreams WGBC
Silk dreams shea what
Silk dreams MSI
Claudie revitalizer deep moisturizing moisture DC
Claudie normalizing conditioner (a hipo girl best friend)
Claudie quinoa and coffee balancing hair cream

Darcys botanicals deep moisturizing mask no longer my HG moisture treatment. As much slip as this gives, it does not smooth my hair as RCA, or the claudie deep mositurizing deep conditioner does. With RCA and claudie, i can feel my cuticles smoothed down. My hair feels like silk, and this is a huge deal for a hipo 4c natural. Darcys gives the best slip, but the other 2 win the post rinse out phase. All 3 gives great moisture, but because the darcys does not smooth as well, my hair tend to dry out faster. Once i am done with my current stah of it (about 8 jars, lol) i wont repurchase.

Continued hit:
APB Hair Cremes
Roux Porosity Control mixed in conditioner
Keravada Coffee Oil
Rinsing with ACV and cold water

Hit:
Claudie's Hair Tea
Kera 10 as a cowash
SD Avocado Pudding DC

Hit: Obia Naturals Hair Cream and Custard.

My WNG is moisturized and well defined. These products will be added to my HG list. Both products have glycerin and wheat protein, but the products work for me.

Hit: Redkin Color Extend sulfate free shampoo. I forgot why sulfate free was so important, but using it and not ending up stripped and dry made me remember.

Now that I've collected my nerves......:lol:maybe you can revisit DB's DC'er.:look:

Sometimes I have to step away from certain things I love and then re-try them at a later time and realize I still love it just as much.

Try putting it away and then come back to it.:yep:

*sits down & fans*

IDareT'sHair lolllllll.
I think I am going to take your advice and step away for a while. I am going into PS mode anyways. So we ll see. I was just as shocked as you are. You know that is my boo thang.

Stepping away & revisiting has always worked for me.:yep:

Recently I revisited KBB Luscious Locs and rediscovered my love.

And I was so glad I didn't get rid of any of it.

You know DB's DC is one of my HG aka 'boo thangs' too!:lick:

So.
I have this in my hair right now.
#believethehype
What is in this stuff?!?! Like for real?? Microscopic fairies that lick every strand with slippery magic? I will say this though.. I do not like the smell. The tea tree in this stuff is quite potent. And I feel like I had to use half the jar. #thickhairproblems
But over all? HIT! Definite repurchase for many many wash days to come!

HIT Affirm Fiberguard Mild Relaxer No burns or irritations

Thank you for this. IDareT'sHair got me wanting to try it again. I use linange now and love it but since I quit mizani I have been contemplating using the affirm again.

I tried it once and hated it because it was leaving too much texture but since I'm keeping texture now I wonder if it will be better. Any feedback?

I had to use half the jar but it's definitely a go to for me.

My hair is straight yet has slight texture. If that makes sense. That's the exact look I was going for.

I bought this from Sally's 2 weeks ago, I haven't used it yet but the reviews for this has been pretty good. Hopefully I will have similar results.

@Saludable84

Exactly.:yep:

2012 I was going to the Beauty School for T/U's, I explained I didn't want my Hair Bone Straight, so Affirm Fiberguard (Lye) Mild is what the Student used on me.

In 2013 I decided to start doing it at home and have my Niece start doing my T/U's, so I bought a Tub.

She really likes it because of that fact. She likes the Texture & the overall Results.

When it was time for me to purchase a 2014 Tub, I asked her if she wanted me to get Regular etc....and she said no, Mild was fine, because she likes the way my Hair responds to it and the results.

The T/U (before this last one), I used Tigi Dumb Blonde for my Mid-Step and she said she definitely preferred 5n1 or the Affirm Sustenance for the Mid-Step.

She has her License but never worked in a Salon.

My only 'con' with her, is she gets to running that mouf and I have to keep her focused.

I have used the Purification mask as both a DC and prepoo/detangler/cowash.

My hair loved ALL of them.

I keep those jars in my arsenal. It detangles like no one's business.

In fact, I will be using it today. :yep:
