The hair on one side of my head is longer than the other. Like about an inch and a half

Same here. I don't worry about it too much because I wear my hair up most of the time. It's also natural, so no one really notices unless I straighten. I'm not about that perfectly even life.
I wear my hair up most of the time also. Actually I haven't worn it out since I big chopped 3 years ago. When worn out, say you had a blown out look not flat ironed. Would you still not notice? I'm talking about 20" blown out?
Fenaxa. This is my head to the tee!!!! If you find a solution please please please let a sista know .....right side is short and thicker / left side is longer straighter and less dense. SmhMy left side is longer than the right but my right side is thicker than the left. Complete opposite of when my hair was relaxed. I think that side just naturally grows a little faster. I don't mind it. I wonder if I still have a W shaped hemline though.
OT, I LOVE ur screen name, MissCrawford. I'm a huge Joan Crawford fan! I just re-watched "what ever happened to baby Jane".
To ur OP, the right side of my hair is shorter than my left. I think it's because I start with the left side of my hair first, there by "babying" that side vs. the other side. Maybe I'll start doing my hair on the other side first.

Haha I'll let you know if I find anything that works to even things out.I would say that a good start would be to massage the scalp of the shorter side. I have been doing that for a while and the difference isn't so drastic anymore.. But still there nonetheless. Your hair is so pretty. My hairline is weird too though; one half (left side) of it goes back a little further and the hair sticks up more and the right side is lower and the hair lays down more when it grows in. I'm not a fan of that at all lol.
Ok first off we must be related! Check the hairline .... All types of uneven. Wth is that about?! Lol. And thanx I will try the massaging bc this uneveness is frustrating. I cant wear my hair curly bc its so noticable. So I have no choice but to straighten and ponytail it lol! Thank you for the compliment as well!!!!
But yes we have the same affliction , hopefully I can fix the symetry, but the hairline I am stuck with lol

@Fenaxa
I think you might be onto something, I was going to say maybe it has to do with the widows peak....the hemline is something different but I think most people with a widows peak have some form of uneveness. I am going to give some of your suggestions a try....I was even contemplating relaxing/texlaxing the right side to make it less thick and more even with the left....but with my luck it would be counterproductive and I bet money the hair would just break off making the problem 10 times worse....sheesh...whats a girl to do!!!!
and lol at "a whole 'nother person"....that would be my lil girl next to me...and thank you for the kind words.
