Decided to give Carols Daughter Monoi a try. I had tried the shampoo, rinse out conditioner and mask and loved it. Used the monoi leave in and serum with the rinse out conditioner as a styler.
MISS- Too much protein? My hair is dry and my curls are M.I.A. Maybe I should have shampooed first? Will give it another try on Tuesday... Maybe too many products at once??? Any suggestions?

Anytime I take a tour around my products and come back to it, I wonder why I ever take the tour.

Oyin Handmade Boing, all in one moisturizer and styler.

The good:
Hair felt pretty soft upon application.
Product gave great definition. I had the best twistout on dry hair to date.
Did not leave my hair crunchy the next day. This could be because of the shea butter mix from the natural me i used. This butter usually leave my hair moist and soft.
The bad:
It leaves a white residue if you use too much. I am heavy handed, so i had to adjust.
It does not mix well with other products. I used it on damp hair over my leave in conditioner ( SD mocha hair milk), and the little white particles were all over. It does get better after i apply a butter over it.
It gives no shine; might make you hair look dull even if not followed by an oil or butter.
Although it moisturizes on instant, if not followed immediately by a butter (as in if you apply to a huge section of hair that is left open to air until you are done twisting) it will make your hair feel dry. I guess that's the hold action.

Verdict: i will keep trying to find the best way to use it, but i will keep and repurchase (unless i like silk dream who's that curl better) for the crunchless definition.
