Do you think you looked better in your TWA?

Anyone here looked better in their TWAs or even felt prettier, sexier, fiercer, attracted more attention, etc?

Maybe back in college. Now I feel really naked after having SL relaxed hair for two years. I covered mine back up with braids 3 weeks after my big chop.

I completly did. When it's was super sorry I was uncomfortable but when it for to5 inches I was hot. You couldn't tell rhe anything. Feeling sexy without the needs for long flowing is great

I have a 4-5 inch twa, and when i wear it out you can't tell me nothing. I would not say i feel prettier, but pretty and fierce. I don't just walk i stomp:lol:. And i have a smile on my face when i see people (whites and blacks) looking. In my mind i imagine what they must be thinking, and i ca't stop smiling. So all of that i think makes me look more attractive.
But i need to get some extension and put it away, cause i have been exposing it to much to that cold winter. And it does not help that i am now on vacation, and i have not worn my wig in almost 2 weeks.

Maybe i'm in the minority here, but since when is a 4-5 inch afro a "TWA"? You can braid, cornrow, etc hair that long. Hell, if you straightened it, you may even be NL/SL depending on your proportions. I don't consider that "teeny weenie" but that's just me.

If my afro was 4-5 inches, I'd feel teh same too. But at one inch, it's much harder to feel feminine, I think.

It depends on the length. When it was bald and 1", I felt sexy. When it hit 2, I felt boyish. It's at 4" now, it's ok. Don't feel boyish, but it doesn't look as good as the bald or 1". I will start to feel better about it at 6" when it starts to have some hang time.

I think the stages between 1" to 5" can be trying. And I didn't feel the same about them. Each 1" seemed to changed the way my face looked. It just depends.

Technically there are a lot of designations between twa and baa, but if I'm not at NL, then I just consider it a twa. I have 4" of hair but I am haven't reached any length goals yet. I'm not yet NL.

I loved the TWA phase so much, I kept it that way for two years. Once i'm done letting it grow, I'll cut, donate and go right back to that adorable 1-2".

My hair stretched is 4-5 inch long, but when i wear it in its natural state, it shrinks to a 1-2 inch afro. A TWA to me is what your hair looks like and not necessarily how long the individual strands are. But to each their own understanding of it. Enjoying my TWA:yep:

Yes, you are. The individual strands are 4-5 inches, but they arent type 1 so they are experiencing shrinkage. My fro has looked about the same for the last 2 inches

I looked like a prepubescent boy. I still had scab hair and not much of a hair pattern. I would never go back to that. :nono:

Yes! when it was between 1-3" inches my hair looked so cute. It really framed my face well and brought out bone structure I didn't even know I had lol. I used to fluff up the top and then smooth down the sides which elongated my face and it looked "styled" lol since that was about all I could do. Then at 4-5" everything started to go downhill with getting knots and tangling, etc. I think I will revisit that style again after I reach waist or hip length.

And no, once I get out of this poopy stage, I have no plans to come back. Under 2 inches? Yes. I felt adorable and I had no issues with tangles. 2 inches and longer? No no and no. Can't wait to have some better length

Oh heck I was being stalked when I got my twa. I had guys friends who started looking at me differently which scared the hell out of me.

I know. Less than 2" looks cute. Over that :nono: It requires long earrings, make-up and lots of girly stuff

I prefer short hair so I may stay at 2 inches once I do the BC. I want something simple and easy but at the same time polished. I want to be able to work out and not spend a lot of time on my hair afterwards.

Yes. I feel like chopping again. It really suited my face when I first chopped, but as it grew out to awkward phase & smedium length hair - not so much. I'm at APL straight ,but just hitting too of shoulders curly and it's like ehh + a pain in the butt to deal with and style.
