For you ladies who ride motorcycles....how are wearing your hair under your brain-buckets (helmets) ? I'm taking classes next weekend, and need to know what is the best way to protect my hair. I would like to re-weave my hair, but worried about the fit under my helmet

Low pony,flat twist or braids going back. Recently I did I flat twist in the front with a low bun in the back.

Ride with the hubby, low pony tail works and sometimes I'll tie a pretty scarf over it that isn't long so that when the helmet comes off my hair still looks good.

^Ditto. I usually do pull back/low pony. Or I'll pull back/wear a cloth head band. Sometimes when my helmet comes off, my hair is looking all kinds of crazy. LOL!

I'm a rider/passenger with dh.

I always wear a low, tucked-in bun. My helmet goes on easily and I'm able to shake my hair out and look cute when we stop.

For overnight trips, I just take a bottle of HE, NTM, and my wide-toothed comb. I like to cowash to rinse out the "road grime".

I ride myself although that part doesn't matter. I two strand twist my hair at the base of the nape and pin the tail of the twist at the crown of my head. I put on a scarf then my helmet goes on top of that. I haven't had much luck with tucking the twist at the base of my nape as it creates too much bulk. I wear a full face helmet.

carletta sunnieb I have a sportsbike. I crawled before walking. Started with a 250. Upgraded to a 600. Had a couple of them before stepping it up to a 750 but didn't like it so I went back to what I liked most, Honda CBR 600.
