So yesterday I decided to BC after two months of standing on the fence. It was either now or never. I had tried transitioning many times but the temptation to relax was always strong....Quick fix, just cut it all off!...I was so nervous but I knew it had to be done.
Here is the before pic

That relaxer did a number as far as thickness, and it was layered :whyme: so it seemed thin

And then the end results!

I'm loving this TWA. I was scared that I was gonna be ugly, and my baby brother keeps saying I look like a boy (Five Year olds :smirk: ) but aside from that I think being natural suits me. I can't wait for it to get big! I don't plan on flat ironing it until I'm at least shoulder length so I got a while. I'm working on a new regimen so any help would be well appreciated. So far I've just got as far as co-washing daily until it it gets bigger. The ends are still slightly texlaxed, but from looking at the roots I'm mostly 4a with small amounts of 3c here and there...so whatcha think?

Congratulations girl!! :woot:
You look great with your new look.

I'm currently transitioning and every now and then think I should just BC...not tempted to relax though so I'll wait a bit longer. :drunk:

Anyway, enjoy what you've got going on! :yep:

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the compliments. I couldn't keep doing this whole transition, no transition thing I had going on. So now I'm natural, easiest style ever! I feel so free!

Congratulations! Being natural is always a good look.....although you could never be ugly. You look beautiful! Enjoy the new look!

Congrats!!! You look great! Sorry if I missed this, but how long did you transition for?

Like two months. I couldn't handle the two textures, what made my relaxed hair soft made my new growth crunchy and vis versa

Thanks so much :) I'm really proud of myself because I was scared and I thought I was never gonna do it. My mom always tells me I'm good with make up
Thanks :)

Congrats your hair looks great! I agree that you should stay heat free for a while and just enjoy your new hair.

Congratulations! You look great!

I know I do not know you (IRL) but I am so proud of you. I remember you saying you were in high school and I know how hard it is to stand out these days and be different from the crowd. My 1st DD just BCd a few months ago and she is just loving it too.

Thanks so much! I'm not all that nervous to go to school next week like I thought I would be, however, I am a little nervous about going back to my old school next summer because all my friends recently saw me with BSB hair, but my best friend also just BC'd so we are encouraging each other :) How long did your DD transition?
