Yesterday marked my 4th year being natural and I wanted to share my progress with you. My length seems to be the same length it was in November and I think it's because I cut my progress off (two inches in February). Ahh well, it's all good. My goal is to be a full waist length in the back.

March 8, 2008

Today's length (took pic yesterday):

I haven't been doing anything but bunning on semi-straight hair out of laziness/convenience:

However, my hair is triflin' right now so I'm about to wash.

s/n: Do any of you preserve a cute style for a good minute even though your hair is dirty? Guess I shouldn't have admitted I did that, but my hair is been looking nice in this bun. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted lol

Anyways, Thanks for everything ladies!

I love it!! And um yes to your question. I need to wash my hair right now but I don't feel like it. And it looks cute still

If you cut 2 inches and your last length check was in November, then yes, you cut your progress off. Hair grows about 1/2 inch per month, and in these 4 months you should have had 2inches of growth. You're at a good lengtg and it looks waistish/mblish :). While you preserved your style, how did you moisturize? I'm curious for future moisturization purposes :)

I don't know if it was sebum or what but I didn't add anything to my hair the entire time it has been straight!

It's been 4 weeks since straightening and I've done nothing (I wore it out for two weeks and bunned for two).

love love love the length of your hair and it look so healthy. I hope at 4 yrs I will be there also. This is my 3rd yr and I am bsb.

Love the hair both the beginning and the end. Very nice progress. Thanks for the inspiration.

Back in tha day, if I had seen you at the Hyatt, I would have said " You mixed? :drunk: or had a silent thought of "She's mixed" :spinning: so that I could have an excuse for my nl mess.

I bet the sista's really giving you the side eye :yep:
