This is the same thing that happened to me. The items I ordered were not out of stock once I got the shipping confirmation. Then I received an email from Walgreens that stated we could not ship some of your items due to some being sold out (I'm paraphrasing not quoting on this one). So will I be receiving the items I ordered because it also said something about the items not being placed on back order, but also that I would not be charged for shipping :perplexed. I'm so confused ya'll! Did anyone else receive a similar message?
i got it too. People go HAM on these sales

I purchased two conditioners. At first I thought I hated the product because it went on very greasy and seemed to loosen my curl pattern. However when I washed the product out I happily realized it had lessened my shrinkage! YAY!

I think I'm the only person that thinks this stuff stinks. I don't like the smell at all...I've tried but the line has great ingredients though.

You're not the only one. I bought 2 Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style Hair Milks recently and I'm really not a fan of it's lingering smell. My co worker walked in the room the other day and said that it smelled like coconut in there. He wasn't even really close to me. I've tried this line twice just to give it a fair chance and I had to return the products because the smell was just too much for me. I wish they'd make unscented products or at least go easy on the scents. I love coconut, but this smell doesn't please me. :nono:

I purchased the African soap balancing conditioner, and so far I am pleased. I think it makes for a good cowash.

Ladies make sure your package is okay when it arrives. My moisture retention shampoo spilled in my shipment of items. Everything else is okay (about 10 bottles of other SM stuff). Now I'm debating whether I should send my box back or just eat a loss. I think I just lost quarter of one bottle. But I'm so happy my other items are okay.

Got my shipment in today! Everything was okay in transit thank goodness. I already had the moisture retention shampoo so I already know I'm happy with @ least that purchase. Can't wait to try the anti-breakage masque and mist!

Just got my shipped notice. It's missing my anti-breakage masque. However, I got free shipping and was able to keep the $10 off coupon. Walgreens need to do better!

I took the online flier and store and they honored the discount. Worked perfectly. I got the C&H Shampoo, the restorative conditioner, the curl milk, and the smoothie. I bought the gel (KCCC type) from Target because Walgreens didn't have it (AND it was 9.99 at Target!!).

Anyway, my hair only likes the smoothie when I'm doing a twistout. If I want to do a wash-and-go, my hair soaks it up and feels dry by the end of the day. But it's a keeper as I want to get into more twistouts as my hair grows.

The minute I come over to hairboard and lurk in a product thread, I buy. No wonder I don't come over here often. Just a mess! :perplexed

Had not even heard of this product line but I figured since it was on sale I better jump on it before the sale is over. I guess once a product junkie, always a product junkie. :nono:

Well, I guess with three different heads of hair in my house it's bound to work for somebody. :look:

ETA: Off to the Entertainment board...much safer for my wallet. :yep:

I agree about the overpowering scents. I got the Deep Treatment Masque once and although I liked the way it worked the scent was just too much so I never repurchased.

Just a heads up that Walgreen's is going to be giving a $3 RR on Shea Moisture products starting on Sunday...

hahahahaa sorry..that is couponing language...RR stands for Register Reward so everytime you buy a Shea Moisture product, they will give you a Register Reward for $3.00 so it will be like spending 6.99 if the product is 9.99. Then you can take the RR and use it on whatever you want later. Now for us extreme couponers, we will take it and roll it over to another product that has RR to maximize the benefit. You can also use it to buy another Shea Moisture product so then your out of pocket will only be 3.99 and you will get another RR. You can only buy one product at a time to get the RR to print out so for example if you want to buy 3 Shea Moisture products, you have to do 3 separate transactions....HTH

ETA: Your actual out of pocket will be 6.99 every time after the first 9.99 you pay.

Ok girl, go ahead and school me.

Thanks, I had NO clue.

I picked up the Shea Moisture Curl Shampoo and Curl Smoothie at Walgreens yesterday (got the RR). I didn't buy the conditioner because I'd hate to love a conditioner that comes in such a small bottle. I already like the Smoothie, but wanted to try out the shampoo.

After shampooing my hair felt really good. Soft, easy to detangle, and moisturized. To test the products on their own, I skipped the conditioner and only applied the curl smoothie. After air drying my hair feels good, but not great. Considering I didn't use a conditioner at all, I'm more than satisfied with the results.

Nightingale i actually use the conditioner (the curl and shine one) as my moisturizer. it is AMAZING! i usually don't rave about products but this is hands down the best thing i've ever put in my hair. i'm running to walgreens to get some before these ladies clear out the shelves at walgreens
