I have a goooodddd feeling that I am 3c:look: What about you?
I secretly want to know whats the most common hair type on LHCF:look:

I think I am like a 4d. Seriously my hair is super curly. it curls over a another curl so it is hard to explain. even when I used to relax my hair people still thought I was needed a relaxer. :ohwell:

I know some people think there is not a 4d type but you haven't seen my hair and she asked what I think.

I see a lot of people with my hair type that claim 3c, seeing different pictures describing 3c hair, I pretty much feel like I falls that category. Im transitioning and I cut a patch of hair to see my hair type a long time ago...and that patch is about 8 inches now:look:
 
I'm transitioning, but the coilies I feel popping up kinda feel 4a/3c ish. But I have SL relaxed hair attached to it sooo...
 
I thought I was 3C for the longest... Now im thinking im more 3b with sections of 3C/4A in the back and middle lol but still not really sure to be honest. I have lots of curls but they are either loose and loppy or tighter/smooth and coily and I have a weird tight frizzy and usually dry hard to comb patch in back...lol really, I cant be sure..:perplexed
 
Most people who talk about hair type on the internet seem to be in the 3C/4A range. So I have always assumed that that is the majority hair type on this board because it seems to be the one most people claim.

I am a type 4.
 
When I was transitioning and after I became natural I had a lot of scab hair 4b/4c so for transitioners I wouldn't claim anything until I had a working reggie as a natural otherwise your hair could be totally dif that what it really is. After being natural I think I have 4a/3c hair

I consider myself 3c/4a....even though I don't put much faith in the hair typing system as I think it too limited.
 
I am soooo not into hairtyping plus I am relaxed so I have no clue. I do tend to believe that I am a 4a. I once saw in a thread that 4a's are the size of springs from a pen and I have several coils that size on my right edge (Those are thin to due to eczema and I have just recently began to skip that area while relaxing. There is no point really) I feel like to claim 3c would be reaching too far, especailly when guessing.
 
I believe that I'm 3c or 4a (or both). When I was natural, I remember my curls being pencil size or a bit smaller.
 
Now that my hair is longer, I think I'm not only a 2a and 3a but I think I have 3b/c now because the hair in my crown has pencil size coils. I wish the rest of my hair matched my crown :-/
 
I don't really understand hair typing as there are so many factors and in the end it's too much effort. With that being said, guess I'm 4b or 4xyz, in my mind. My hair has these super tiny and tight spirals that create knots everywhere. Bleh :ohwell:
