Mizani Butter Blends Sensitive Scalp (No-Lye). Previously used MBB Lye but stayed severely underprocessed, so I made the switch and incorporated "Chelating" to ward off any possible negatives of calcium build up/dryness.

So Far, So Good.

Mizani Butter Blends Lye in Medium/Regular. I absolutely love the Butter Blends system.

Yup- coulda wrote this myself. I switched over to no lye and could not be happier! My hair is no longer underprocessed( ng), and my no lye hair looks so much healthier.

And I couldn't have written this better myself --Verbatim.

I wish I woulda' made the switch sooner. And I suffered unjustly with Matting, Tangles, Loc'ing etc.....the underprocessing (and possibly improper application by me) caused me alot of issues.:nono:

I use no-lye, but I've been underprocessed for the last two relaxers so I don't know what to do....but I used creme of nature, I was thinking about going lye.....

lye

Mizani bb super (diluted with protein) for the front
Mizani bb super ( straight out the container) for the back

I was using Affirm fiber-guard LYE for years, and it was more of a texturizer on me. Way way way too underprocessed.

Now i'm using Design Essentials No Lye, and I am truly loving it!!

Phyto II No Lye mixed with lots of goodies. I found that if I chelate (Joico Chelating Shampoo), I do not have the issues with dryness.

I use Mizani butter blends no-lye sensitive scalp. Lye and certain other no-lye brands ALWAYS burnt my poor scalp

I just switched from Mizani Butter Blend Lye to Affirm Fibreguard. My hair was shedding like a beast and it has slowed down considerably in the month since I switched.

I use Elucence. Mild, or sensitive. I think it's the kind you mix which is no lye.
