I'm in a serious hair dilemma, ya'll
. Ever since I became a member here I've been trying to keep better track of my hair progress. I got my camera out and everything
. It's been almost a year now and I'm starting to think my hair follicles are plotting against me
. I'm looking at my progress pics like
. (See attachments)
Plus, I got my hair TRIMMED recently (a couple of weeks ago) and I'm basically at the same point that I was a year ago *except my layers have grown in* My hair lady said I had a lot of damage and she basically hacked it all off. SO now I basically have to start all over again.
NOW, I was hoping I could pick ya'lls brains for some answers on what I should differently for the next 12 months.
What I have been doing consistently for the past year:
-braidouts (and re-braid at night)
-use giovanni direct leave-in and seal EVOO or coconut oil
-no heat (only for trims; I've only straightened twice in the past year)
-pull back in a ponytail
What I should do to ensure optimal health and maximum growth in the next 12 months:
:scratchch
ETA: My hair is fine and breaks very easily
