You"re also going to need newspapers or something to protect your work area, I used a old shower curtain liner.

Step 1- Measure out the ink & alcohol, 1 cup of alcohol & 8 full squirts of ink..I used 10 :look: SHAKE WELL!!!! Make sure the cap is tightly closed though!

Step 2- Get ta spraying! Saturate the wig and make sure it's totally covered, I did 2 wigs so I made two batches of dye.

It'll look something like this when you're all finished.

Step 3- Airdry or blow dry on low.. when they are all dry rinse them in cool water to get rid of any excess dye, otherwise you run the risk of ruining your clothes.

I will post pics of the finished product in just a few!

ETA- I'm finished!

I love how you can still see the highlights in the mezzo HW!

The outré really absorbed the ink! I really can't see the highlights in this one anymore but that's ok.

:detective: I can't wait to see how this turns out. I'm guessing you could only go darker and not lighter.

Good job! I'm going to have to try this on some of my wigs that have had to be retired before I try it on my good hairs.

Good idea! I am taking these 2 HW on vacation so I didn't have time to test it out first, but another nice thing about doing this on new wigs is that it changes the texture too.
