can you color right after removing braids?

can you dye your hair right after removing braids?

I just removed my braids yesterday after having them in for about 5 months. I have a lot of grays now and wanted to know if I could use a semi permanent color today. would this damage my hair?

i think semi-permanent is ok, but i wouldn't use demi-permanent or permanent color so soon.

I don't know the answer OP but I did giggle when I saw your question since coloring means a-whole-nother thing especially if you leave out the noun "hair" and just talmbout coloring.

First thought was "Is she worried that her hair might be manipulated too much if loose during the act?"

I had to laugh at that one. I was wondering why the hell nobody responded to my question maybe I need to change the title of my post but that would be useless since I already dyed my hair. I forgot that is a LHCF word for the grown up.
