 Who said anything about naturals not looking good?

The below quote spoke of seeing naturals IRL whose hair was not looking good.

this natural v. relaxed hair thing is so ridiculous
i love all hair thats healthy esp. when its long...regardless of wether its relaxed natural texlaxed watevr...with that said i cannot stand it when naturals find out im relaxed and start preaching about how i have "self hate" and how i should accept my natural texture&stop being insecure..blahblehblah-freaking-blaaaah...
first of all youve been natural for 2wks, ive only been relaxed for 2yrs so i dont really think i have a problem accepting my natural texture.i know my texture[4a in the back,3c in the middle&front] and i know what products work for my natural hair[beyond the zone noodlehead, mane&tail,i hated KCCC..],you my friend just discovered your natural hair 2weeks ago if anything maybe i should give you advice.
second of all just because im relaxed doesnt mean im insecure.I was natural at the time when pretty much nobody was natural and people would make fun of my hair all the time saying how nappy it was and how i needed a perm and how my hair isnt the "good" kind therefore i shouldnt be natural.so trust me i dont think im insecure at all.

All the natural ladies i see on this board have beauuutiful hair however in real life[esp.at school] the naturals i see dont even compare to the ladies on the board most of them have dry thirsty twa's thats just helplessly screaming "DEEP CONDITION!"....and i could also say the same thing for the relaxed heads i see in real life also

the point is its just freaaking hair.like seriously whether its relaxed or natural...its juuust hair.some of you people are more concerned about hair then you are about your own health to the point where some would rather not exercise because they dont want to sweat&mess up their hair.oh trust, some of yall will set aside time to do your hair but wont even set aside time to workout.and then you go on the health forum and complain about how you gained 20lbs this year and how you needa start incoorporating a "healthy body journey" along with your "healthy hair journey"....ahhh crap i think im rambling a bit..i got a little off topic...dont mind me...carry on lol

But as the poster also mentioned, the same can be said of relaxed heads as well. It's just that for some reason, relaxed ladies are given more of a pass for having jacked up hair while natural ladies seem to be held in a higher standard IRL. I sometimes feel like the old saying where Some black folks give the rest of the race a bad name, unfortunately the same holds true for naturals in some people's eyes. Reality is obviously if your hair is jacked up, it doesn't matter if it's relaxed or natural, it's still a hot mess.

I see more naturals talking about relaxed ladies having chewed up ends than I see relaxed ladies saying a natural's hair looks dry and tough like a used Brillo pad. Personally, I've seen both and they both look bad. :ohwell:
