My First Flexi Rod Twist Out Set (Pictures Inside)

So inspired by Kimmaytube's Flexi Rod Twist Out set, I decided I wanted to try it for myself on a week old of set of twists. Here is where I started from:

I took lots of pictures but do not want to post a lot of big sized pictures in the post so more pictures are on my blog: This Beadifully Younique Woman

This set turned out much better than I expected especially since I did not use any heat. I am well pleased and will definitely try this a couple of times before my wedding. I was going to do a fancy bun as my wedding style but if I perfect this style, it may very well be my wedding do. :)

If you ladies have any tips on how I can perfect this hairstyle, I would love to hear them!

Very, very cute! This might just be an Easter 'do for one of my chirren lol.

Oh, and fabulous retention job over the last year btw. I was just on your blog...you definitely have a new follower :)

love it. I use perm rods for mine and to always have a diff look I don't roll it all the way up to the scalp sometimes. when i do it that way, I don't have to seperate it that much.
 
your hair is absolutely ridiculous! Beautiful, I'm going got try this, did it take a very long time to do?

She used a combo of flexi rods and perm rods. Still came out great.

Thanks hun and your hair is absolutely ridiculous too (looking @ your signature)! It took me no more than an hour to put in the flexi rods. I had the twists in already which took me about 2-3 hours to complete...I don't even remember how long.

Hmmm, thanks for the tip! Do you find it hard to sleep with the perm rods?

Great results! I was inspired to do a flexirod set after watching moptop maven and another YTer (forget her name but she's transitioning and has gorgeous hair) and it turned out a HAM. I need to practice myself, so I have no advice.
