LHCF is getting crazy with all these Youtuber discussions, is there nothing better to discuss? Why are we always talking about YTer and what they are doing wrong? Where are the positive, supportive threads.

Someone please come up with a new bandwagon that we can all jump on and have some fun around here. lol

I'd say this screw ANYONE that would try to tell me I have no right to complain about my hair because I'm not a damn type 4 whatever or type ANYTHING.

Especially since I got some damn knots and tangles so bad for some unknown reason tonight that I got a headache detangling and just said screw it, I'll finish my hair tomorrow.

Whatever. And folks talk about natural nazis are bad HAH!!!!!!!!! Now you gotta have a certain hair type to open your mouth??

Folks be crying about losing an inch of hair or their hair won't grow and everyone is so quick to give a shoulder or a pat on the back.

I just can't....REALLY.

And I'm for sho not on anyone's damn bandwagon but a lot of this bullsh*t needs to stop.

ETA: someone let me know if my curls are tight enough for me to have an opinion. If not I'll gladly bow out and go nurse my bottle of water.

Eww, division is so ugly. Let's agree to disagree. She can say what she likes about her hair. She can have complaints. She can feel validated in owning her feelings and exercising her right to speak her mind. Same token, everybody isn't gonna want to hear what she has to say, agree with her POV, or see it through her eyes.

Now tell me, how are y'all doin' tonight? Have a smile. It's on the house. :)

um, we all have a right to complain..no matter what type... if we get fed up with our hair at the moment we get fed up.

It was taking her so long because she had a hard time getting 2nd day hair from a wash and go. Lots of people can't even get 1st day hair from a wash and go  She should look to them for some styling suggestions that last longer than a day. Like twist outs, cornrows, etc. to ease her frustration and to spend less time on her hair. Anyway, her hair always looks good to me.

The more I watch her videos the more she irritates me. Which is sad because I liked her at one point. I'm not watching the video. I can't bare to listen to her complain about her hair.

This. Stopped watching when she got the heat damaged.stopped liking when she was beefing with kimmay(i think our whoever it was) and they brought bonnet girl some 15 minutes.

And I wont be watching this.she annoys me for some unexplainable reason.

Where is the You-Tuber the one who drives around in her car (for the life of me I cannot remember her name) when you need her because she gives pearls of wisdom on the woes of having Kunta Kinte type hair and I would love to hear a rebuttal from her about this video. :lachen:
Oooh I really can't stand that chick ugly spririt with an ugly fug face to match. She is not cute or funny and neither is her potty mouth about HER dry sahara desert hair.

Why do some of you think 4b hair is soo hard to deal with?? As someone who has 4b hair, I don't find it hard to manage at all. Yes, it took some time to get to know my hair but I still don't feel like it was a struggle or just sooo much harder than another hair type. Why is 4b or kinkier hair seen as parameter to be used on the difficulty of one's hair struggles??? That makes no sense to me. Unless you actually have someone else's hair, you cannot determine how hard or easy one's hair journey is. On that note, I don't see anything wrong with what Taren said. It is her vlog to express how she feels about whatever. She has a right to express her challenges with her hair just like someone with a kinkier texture does. But please don't assume that there is a level of difficulty (whether it is low or high) when dealing with particular hair types.
Right, I have 4a hair and dont find my hair hard to manage either. I mean it has it's days but it few and far between.
I remember this chick with a weave telling me my hair looked hard to comb,it was in a frizzy braid out puff, I already seen her fried. I didn't say anything, but I sure was thinking "no ****,YO, stuff looks hard to comb, mess looks like it snaps, crackles, and breaks when you comb it." Dont place your insecurities on me cause I love mines.

Wow. I think anyone could have problems. If you said you were having frustrations I would believe it, even though your hair is kinda wavy, kinky, curly, what gets me is your thickness. that alone can be frustrating add that in with your length and keeping it healthy(wash,detang,moisturize)... Nuff said. her hair is kinda on the fine not too super thick side. Atleast you can rock two strands, I remember her saying something about wishing she could rock them.

*dead* at calling her gina and applehead. She does favor tischa

Thank you! I wish there was a thank you button on this damn App.

This topic is ridiculous.

Wow her hair is so pretty...

I'm co-signing with ~~HoneyComb~~. It doesn't matter what color, type, length or strength of hair you have. Like problems, everyone has hair struggles.

Hi I would just like to say that I have 4a type course hair as does my son and my daughter has 3a type ringlets that is very fine. I have to say hand on heart that her hair is hard work and I find my sons hair much easier. Her hair breaks very easily and knots too, if not for my prior knowledge on lhcf I would have a short haired daughter but instead her hair is wl when stretched, but when she wants her hair out I fret as much as any other mom because the knots will be horrible, as for her staying with relatives I have to think of a plan so I do not have to cut out the damage. Seriously it's not easy. I love her curls so beautiful.

I was just about to post about this. I thought I remembered the 4a, 4bs bragging that their hair was tougher than the fine 3cs and therefore easier to grow long.

Not that I care... I just remember hearing that. Everyone it seems has a cross to bear. SNIFF.

Well.........while I think her hair SHOULD be easier to deal with than 4A-B hair, I dont do her hair so I cant say it is a breeze or it SHOULD be a breeze to do.

:yep: Yep. My 3 year old cousin has hair just like her, and he is a boy. Its at least MBL on him and he doesnt like getting it done often so my cousin keeps it in braids. Whenever he goes outside to play all you hear is "Ohh, that baby has good hair:spinning:!". I tried to do his hair once and I got frustrated becuase it is way too fine. I am used to my kinky coarse hair and I was clueless about what to do with his hair. Most of the products I use are heavy and they wont work on his hair at all.I just sat there like :perplexed.

No two naturals are the same. The grass isnt always greener. It may look like it would be easier, but that doesnt make it so.

I can't believe she is about to cut her hair really short..I was just getting into her videos hahahaha

^^ I misread this and thought she'd already cut her hair. So I clicked on the video and I was confused. :) I've never watched her channel before. Some people are just never satisfied. <shrugs>

I saw her post on somebody's video earlier this week that she was about to cut her hair really short so I knew it was coming. I guess she cut alot off several months ago as well so this is her second cut I think.

She has beautiful hair!!! If she wants to cut it off, then she should do it. I just don't want to see another video about how she is frustrated with her short hair.

Wow.

Are we once again making Afro texture seem hard to manage? :spinning:

The world is watching..:yep: Let us make sure we educate not *confirm* stereotypes about our hair.
